Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 95Exactly What I Wanted
We were very satisfied with the Hilton Garden Inn. We were delighted to find out we could check in before NOON ! The room was clean, quiet and peaceful and smelled good. We swam in the pool which was very clean but beware of the temp of the water - it was just a tad chilly but ok once we started exercising. We had a delicious burger in the restaurant and LOVED the little bottles of Mayonaise! Every one of the staff we came in contact with were cheerfully friendly, professional and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to attend a baseball game at Progressive Field because you can walk and don't need your car. You can park your car right behind the hotel for an extra fee but it's worth paying to park. We'll stay there again if we need to spend the night in Cleveland.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 4 of 95"Great room for the money"
Very friendly staff; very clean, comfortable room. The only thing that would have been better was if room service was available aft 10pm. We were in Cleveland for a night time Cleveland Browns game (they won) and when we got back about 11PM, it would have been nice to order wings or something from room service. However they do have a 24 hr pantry which we bought microwable wings that were suprisingly good.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 5 of 95Close to the Jake
This is hotel is the closest Hotel to the players parking lot in Cleveland for the Indians. It is just across the street, which is perfect for getting those autographs (when you can find a player willing to sign) The staff is incredibly gracious & helpful. They even joked around with our 13yr old son about his make-up for the game. This is the only hotel that we stay at when we are attending an Indians game. There are many to choose from, but they are by far the nicest with the best accommodations.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 95Awesome staff
I didn't expect very much from this place because it was so cheap. The rooms were your average hotel rooms, nothing fancy. Our shower was a little slow to drain but no big deal. The staff at the front desk, however, blew me away. They were extremely helpful and very nice. They offered extra towels without being prompted and gave us great recommendations for places to go out. Even hooked us up with some VIP passes to skip the cover. Overall this was an awesome experience and for the price, you really can't beat it.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 95Great stay for Indians Game
Nice hotel close to Progressive Field. Nice eating amenities and hotel bar. Did not expect the extra fee for parking. Otherwise, very satified.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 8 of 95Satisfied guest
Visited HGI on Indian's opening day, parking lot was full, which forced me to park in satellite lot, which was farther than I would like to the door of HGI. The room layout had room door, bath door, and closet door open into each other. If you have such a room, establish a rule that if you use a door, it must be closed after you pass. The three doors will crash and damage each other and also prevent egress. Too convenient to the Q, Progressive and Wolstein. Difficult to get to hotel with a game going on as Exit gets backed up.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 95Would stay again
Stayed at the Hilton Garden to attend a Saturday night show at the Playhouse Square and also a show on Sunday. The hotel would be within walking distance if they weather were not so cold. Neighborhood a little iffy, though. Hotel recommended that we leave our car at the hotel and grab a cab to go to the theater because it would be more cost effective than parking. A big black limo picked us up at the hotel, charged $5 for the ride and we called him to pick us up again to take back to the hotel. Parking at the theater was $15.00 and up. I have no complaints what so ever. If you go to a baseball game in the summer, the stadium is right there.
