Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 7A treasure
This was my second stay at this grand Hotel. It is truly a treasure. The room was great and the bed and linens superb. You can drown in the comfort of the bed linens. THe Hotel features a great restaurant, bar and lots of cozy corners to relax in. I'm already planning my next visit.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 7Historic Beautiful Hotel
We had a wonderful stay this past weekend at Congress Hall. Location is great - right across the street from the ocean with beautiful views. During the day the pool was nice with good, friendly service and in the evening the Brown Room Bar had a fireplace with a roaring fire which was so pleasant to sit and have a drink. My only complaint is that we confirmed our ocean view room on hotel.com and when we arrived they only had a town view the first night but compensated us with a dinner voucher which worked out fine for us. Would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 7Very Nice Hotel
My mother loves antiques and historic homes, so I took her to Cape May for her birthday. I didn't want a Bed and Breakfast, I thought the Congress hall was a good substitute. The hotel was very nicely renovated, still had the historic charm. The room was really nice and extremely comfortable. The beds were awesome, not too soft- not too Hard, with perfect pillows. The linens were high quality and my mother loved the Aveda products. The only thing that could have been a little better was that the water only trickled from the shower, no pressure. That is true to an old building and was not a true issue. Dinner at the Blue Pig was delicious well, and although we didn't have reservations, the hostess got us a table in front of the fire place. I would definitely stay there again.
