One of the best locations in Boston, rooms are a bit small, average breakfast, decent staff, and clean rooms. Average.

Perfect Location, great size

Couldn't have been a better located hotel. Easy and cheap (for Boston) parking. Only a few hundred feet from Copley T stop. Perfect for Fenway, bars, and restaurants. Now for the clincher, the size of the room... perfect for 2 people. Someone who wants a bigger room should just stay home. Why pay extra for a room if your going to be out enjoying the city anyway. Great Room, Great Location

Staying at the Charlesmark hotel was a great experience. It was in a great location, within walking distance from key sites in Boston and close to many entrances to the T. The staff was very welcoming and helpful when we first arrived and when we inquired about directions to various places in the area. Also, my room was a great size and very clean. All in all, I have nothing negative to say for this hotel and have already recommended it to my friends and family. I will definitely be choosing it again for my next Boston trip!

The room was tiny but very well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Hotel itself is in a great location for walking, shops and nightlife.

Very Happy Customer

This hotel was great! Right in the middle of everything in Back Bay, easy walking distance to Fenway, lots to do after the game. The rooms are small but very nice, clean, and the breakfast was simple but good. I would definitely stay here again or reccommend this hotel to anyone.

Great Location! Great price!

We were completely satisfied with our stay! Were visiting Boston for one night and it was the perfect place to stay. The price was great-much much less than what our friends paid at another hotel close by. The rooms were small but I expected that after reading other comments so I was not dissapointed. They are not too small though. You are not going to get a bunch of people in the room but there was plenty of space for bags, walking around, etc. The location is the best part-within walking distance of alot! The modern feel of the hotel was fun! The hotel bar was great too-very chic! Cant say enough! We will definately stay again!

Outstanding Employees

We expected a room with a view, and the alley was not what we liked, but since the hotel was almost full they gave us a round of drinks at their fabulous bar downstairs and that was a good move on their part. The bathroom, though small was wonderful with a walk in shower.....but the room was very small, not even a chair to sit on, but it served its purpose and we would stay here again, great neighborhood, close to alot of different things.....Nice!! The employees from front desk to the bar, to the maid was exceptionally nice and that made this hotel a keeper for us!!

clean, comfortable, friendly, well-located, excellent value

Rooms not large but size of queen room was perfectly adequate. Across from Boston public library, very convenient to green line stations and close to orange line. Bar and lobby comfortable, if a little loud. Room is quiet, bathroom well-appointed with new fixtures. Great, warm, full shower. Front desk staff extremely friendly and helpful. Very good value for a Boston hotel.

Perfect for urban couple or single traveler!

The Charlesmark Hotel is in a perfect location. Sure, there's Boylston Street traffic out front and some construction at the library across the street. But the fact remains, you can walk out the front door and walk the city - the best parts of the city at least - in minutes. We took advantage of the Clarendon Street/validated lot which was a quick and lovely walk to the hotel. We found the room to be on the small side - similar to boutique hotels in Soho. Not right for families, despite a pull out sofa. But the bathroom was good-sized and overall, the room was not cramped. We really appreciated the complimentary H20. The staff was professional and accommodating. The restaurant/ bar scene on floor one was cool. At the end of the day, for the money, this is Boston's best kept secret. An incredible value.

Charlesmark Hotel - great deal

the service at the Charlesmark hotel was exquisitely extensive. They went out of their way to make our stay not only pleasant, but also enjoyable. Rooms come with tv, free wireless, xm satellite radio stations, climate control, modern decor, as well as artistic pieces in the room. Good size, Great location, right on Boylston, next to the Boston Public Library. Half block from the red line.
