Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 84Great potential
This hotel and my room had the feeling of a college dorm and the room was very reminiscent of a dorm room or a Mom and Pop motel. I was told I had received an "up-grade" in being given this room. Free Wi-Fi was much appreciated. The room itself was extremely tiny with a miniature, awkward closet (no skirt hangars), a "pull out" desk platform and folding chair. Two small drawers are built into the platform bed. No handles were on the drawers when I arrived, but they were promptly installed when I told them I could not find, or open, the drawers. The lighting in the room was very poor, but adequate. The room seemed clean, although the small sofa in the room was stained. The tiny bathroom and shower was very nice and a good point of the room, until the last day when the glass shower door had been removed and replaced with an opaque plastic curtain and there was zero water pressure (shower not possible). I had not been forewarned that this would happen during my stay and there was no apology (or reimbursement) for my significant inconvenience. There is a little breakfast nook adjacent to the bar which is very pleasant and a continental breakfast is very basic and uninspired. The staff is nice enough and the location is great. It is a friendly place and it felt more or less safe. However, in most other locations it would be worth one-third to half of what it cost during my stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 84Avoid this hotel
The rooms are tiny, tiny and you need instructions on how to turn the ancient TV on and off, and I never did figure out how to change the channels. The bed had a futon-like mattress, which means hard as a rock. The only positive about the hotel is its location. Avoid this hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 84Many more plusses than minuses
Overall, this hotel was great. Clean with a modern chic look, a super accommodating staff and an awesome location. The only drawbacks were that the rooms are on the small side and I could hear the people above me walking around pretty well. However, for my purpose, alone on business and having to get up early anyway, the drawbacks were not a major problem. You have to try the Thai restaurant right next door.

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 84Small Space, Great Place
My standard room reminded me of a dorm room in terms of size. All amenities are great (satellite radio, movie channels, cute lounge, nice bar) and the location is fantastic. So much to do in Back Bay that you probably won't spend much time in the room anyhow. Staff is very nice.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 84Small room but good for a short stay
Small room but great location on Boyleston. Would recommend for a short stay. If staying more than one night, upgrade to one of the larger rooms.

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 84Awesome stay!
This hotel is in a great area-close to the Copley MBTA stop and extremely convenient to all of the sights of Boston. Also the shower's water pressure was absolutely amazing and was like being at home! It's a small hotel but it was great and we never ran into other people.
