Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 8great paris location
This was perfect for us (family w/teens)and the street is relatively quiet. Don't waste your money on the overpriced breakfast at the hotel. Instead head around the corner to Boulangerie Julian (75 Rue St. Honore) for the take-away croissants, pastries, and sandwiches of your dreams. They are open 6 am - 20 pm. Air conditioning in the rooms was heavenly, staff tried very hard to be helpful but sometimes were overwhelmed. Still, very good quality and location for the money. We were happy.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 8Great hotel despite unimpressive entrance
Off Champs Elysees, on side street, we kept walking down this small, unattractive side street fearing the worst and got to unimpressive entrance, but were pleasantly surprised once inside. Nice attractive lobby (mirrors, marble and modern furniture) with FREE INTERNET ACCESS THROUGH COMPUTER HOOKED UP IN LOBBY and nice patio to sit in. Very new looking spa downstairs which consisted of excercise equipment, sauna, locker room and showers and soothing fountain. Massage room. Facilities very clean and new looked like no one ever uses them. Our Room was attractive and large with brocade looking curtains and nice marble bathroom. Large windows. We skipped bfast which was 25 euro and we looked at the functional but not terribly attractive bfast room with small buffet and toaster out (make your own toast?) and decided it looked unappealing and overpriced. GREAT Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location was not near Louvre or Notre Dame, etc, but short walk to Champs Elysees with plenty of shopping and lots of touristy restaurants if that is your thing. Metro stop pretty close - FDR stop on Metro Line 1 if you go left on Champs E. and George V stop on same Metro Line 1 if you go right on Champs E but slightly farther away. Also another Metro line 9 if you go opposite direction from Champs Elysees out the front door but we never took that one. Great Monoprix department store with food section on lower level right on corner of hotel street and Champs Elysees if you need last minute toiletries or snacks/drinks to keep you going while sightseeing.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 8Great Location Basic Hotel
Location cant be beat: right near Pont Neuf and the Rue Rivoli with easy access to the Louvre, Ile de la Citè and Notre Dame and the Latin Quarter e.g. the area around BD de St Germain. Room very basic with no bedspreads and no lampshades on the fake candle lightbulbs. You can hear water being used in the adjacent rooms. Nice curtains and wallpaper. basic white tile bathroom with only shower and no bath.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 8Great location
Can't beat the location, but rooms are absolutely tiny. Can reach wall with my arms if laying on edge of bed. If that's not an issue for you, then it's a well located hotel with friendly front desk.
