Hotel Palomar Washington DC - a Kimpton Hotel

Special place for a wonderful experience.

Service and staff were excellent.Hallways need to be aired out but that is to be expected with an old hotel. Room was huge and nicely furnished. Can't say anything negative about the stay!

Awesome Hotel

Great location two blocks from Dupont Circle; lots of excellent restaurants nearby, and quick access to Metro. I would rate 5 star. Rooms were large, clean, comfortable, and very well-furnished. Hotel staff was very cordial and helpful. We would definitely stay there again.

"Outstanding Hotel"

From the minute you arrive at the Hotel the staff was polite and attentive to all your needs. They had a wine tasting event every evening which was very nice and relaxing. The rooms were large, excellent and very modern. For the money i could not believe the size and quality of the room. We have stayed at 5 star hotels but this has exceeded our expectations. Look forward to our next vacation i will definitely look for a Kimpton Hotel. For those Dog Lovers out there the Hotel Palomar will treat you and your pet like royalty...

Highly recommend this location. After walking all over DC we were too tired to go searching for a place to eat, there is plenty to choose from in this area. Just walk across the street or around the corner. There is also a market nearby. Or simply call in. Just ask the very helpful staff. The Metro was ez, too. I would tell you to skip the zoo though, I don't know, but I am from NY ,so need I say more. Instead spend your time down by the National Mall.

Outstanding Hotel

Everything about the hotel was great - very thoughtful to the customer on many levels.

BEYOND ACCOMMODATING....

When I booked through Hotels.com I couldn't get the room I wanted for both nights. Hotel Palomar was able to change things around so we wouldn't have to change rooms. It is a very pet-friendly hotel -- the staff went above and way beyond the call of duty to make use all very comfortable, including our dachshund! Everyone on the staff was outstanding!!

very enjoyable

we really liked the Hotel Palomar in DC. The deluxe room was spacious and the beds very comfortable. The service was attentive and friendly. The hotel is a short walk to the Metro and very convienient for touring DC attractions. The restaurant was very good but pricey, but there are less expensive places to eat if you look for them

Wonderful Hotel

Extremely pleased with Hotel Palomar. Comfy beds, bigger than an average hotel room, modern bathroom, great guest products. Also, loved the robes!!!
