The Fairfax is the only hotel I will stay in whenever I am in DC. It was just perfect!!

Consistenly Friendly Staff

From the multiple staff members at the front door to the front desk staff to the housekeepers, it seemed everyone who worked at the Fairfax at Embassy Row was interested in connecting with ME. A smile goes a long way in making someone's day seem a little brighter. I make a point to pass 'em around liberally. Apparently, people who work at the Fairfax feel the same way. No sullen faces in sight. That consistently friendly interaction with guests, added to the sweet little rooms, exacting details (iPod docking speakers, lots of huge fluffy towels, linens to die for) and great location, made a weekend get-away to DC a real treat.

Best in the Neighborhood

I have stayed in a number of the Dupont Circle hotels. Overall bed comfort, room temperature, cleanliness, updated features (bathroom, flat screen TV, bedding) was excellent. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. Only complaint, the cleaning staff failed to replenish the coffee and bath comps. This hotel will be my first choice (assuming good rates) in the future

Great Location, Plus Comfort

This hotel is located in the heart of downtown DC and is walking distance to countless excellent restaurants and nightlife. It is also only a block from a metro stop and easily accessible from the major highways. Beyond the location, which is the hotel's clearest asset, the staff were extremely kind and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable and hotel itself was well maintained.

Awesome Place!

We received a great price for this hotel and the service was excellent. The front desk staff was kind, courteous, and helpful. The hotel itself is in a central location. Woinderful overall.
