highly recommend

The room was in great condition, everything was very high quality- the sheets, towels, furniture, and huge tv. The staff were extremely helpful, and the location was perfect.

Needs Improvement

The hotel was nice. However, customer service was horrible. I was first treated like I didn't belong there. Secondly, I had several problems with my room getting cleaned, getting ice and room service

A Weekend Getaway

My wife and I arranged for a last minute escape weekend to DC and found the location of the Fairfax to be perfect even before we arrived. Being part of the Dupont Circle are and only 2 blocks from the metro, it proved to be ideal in terms of restuarants, shops, proximity to downtown museums. The staff was always helpful and willing to be of whatever assistance was needed. I would not only recommend the Fairfax, but plan on revisiting it in the future.

Unbelievable deal!

Such an amazing deal for the room/location. The room is a bit on the small side but very comfortable/clean. The staff was extremely friendly. I would rate the concierge ok in terms of resourcefulness but they were also very friendly. While you're in dupont you must go to Kramers Books from brunch as it is amazing.

Great Weekend Getaway

We recently took a weekend trip to DC and were very pleased with the Fairfax. The room was spacious and well appointed, the hotel bar was cosy and the piano player was definitely a nice touch. Also the Jockey Club restaurant featured very good food and friendly service. Overall, I would definitely recommend the Fairfax to others.
