Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 17Never again even if it was free!!!
Spent 2 nights here & was the worst hotel experience of my life! Besides the location of the hotel, the service was horrible. When I checked-in, I asked (nicely) if I could have a room away from other guests since I'm a light sleeper...It was a simple question yet the guy was rude & gave me an attitude about it being full that night as if I already knew that (obviously I didn't). The worst part is that there were 2 temperatures for the shower...COLD & COLDER!!! I felt bad especially for my girlfriend. I complained 3-times yet none of my 3 complaints ever of the same issue got resolved. Just horrible, I highly recommend staying away...

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 17Nice clean rooms at a fair price.
Room was big and clean. Hotel was nice and quiet. Hotel is a little hard to get to, but overall a very pleasant experience.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 17Excellent value
The hotel was very nice and clean. Our room was in excellent condition, and we found the service to be top-notch during our short, 2-night stay. I would recommmend this particular hotel for the overall cleanliness and great value. Looking for a trouble-free, tidy, comfortable place in which to stay? Look no further.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 17Good but weird location
The hotel was great but the location is kind of hard to get to and they state they have wireless and lead you to believe they have it but when I got there they said all they had was DSL and no wireless. Also the room we got was a one big room and not a divided room like the picture shows. Also the view we got was pretty poor. The beds were super comfortable, the TV was nice and cable was nice. The bar downstairs had a very nice woman tending the bar but the food was greasy, not her fault though. Overall the room was nice and the beds do look like the pictures show. The outside of the hotel does not look like the picture shows. My main thing was location, slightly misleading photos in the advertisement and advertising wireless when they do not have it. Other than that it is a very nice hotel though and I would recommend it to people if they want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city but if you want something a little close to some city life and action this isn't for you. Still a great hotel.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 17Great room for the price
We got the hotel on a discount, so the room was wonderful when the price paid for the room is considered. The hotel is going through some remodeling. The furniture is very nice and many of the updates look great, but at a closer inspection of the work it looks cheaply done - the quality of the work. The painting is sloppy, the wallpaper is pealing in various spots (in the room and in the halls). These minor details didn't bother us (especially since we got a bargin on the room) but they were noticable.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 17Great weekend gettaway
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our one year anniversary. We could tell they were in the end stages of remodeling because it smelled like paint and the 10th floor was off limits. The room was great, the bed was soft and oh so comfortable. We were able to hook up our own DVD player to there flat screen tv. The only thing that I had a problem with was that the coke machines on floors 4 - 9 were sold out or out of order. We stayed on the 9th floor and I had to go down to the 3rd just to get a cold bottle of water.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 17Very difficult to get to
The hotel was fine for the price I paid, but it's tricky to get to from the freeway and there is a LOT of traffic noise. I stayed on the eighth floor and could hear the traffic loud and clear.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 17LOVE THE ROOM
I just want to say the stay was great. Room, just everything. What I paid for the room and the distance from where it is worth it. I would stay again in a heart beat. I do have to say there is a down size but still was fine, like I said. It was that we got a room in front which was facing the Highway or Freeway. But I still like it cause I could see the Houston City lights. Love it.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 17Great
Only annoying thing about this hotel is it was a little frustrating to get to at times. But we figured out the short cuts and best ways eventually. Love the hotel, the staff are so nice, Room was very clean, anything we needed they were quick to bring it too us. Would definitely stay there again.
