Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 2 of 53Executive Club was great!
At check in, I was placed in the wrong room. I went back to the front desk and was immediately switched to the Club Level. The free breakfast buffet and free cocktail hours were great! The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable as well. The covered parking was convenient and I will definitely stay here on my next visit to Houston...

Must say.... the pillows were wonderful.... a good night's sleep and quite relaxing watching a movie on the TV.... excellent location for my needs and would stay again when I return to the area. People and staff were curtious and pleasant.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 53Great room for the money
Close to highways to access most of Houston areas. Clean room. Rates are fine. Comfortable bed. Only problem: the A/C was very noisy.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 5 of 53Great room for the price
Very nice room and comfortable bed, no problem with highway traffic noise at all. Left my computer bag in the hotel drawer and the staff was very helpful in locating it and send it back to me. Definitely will stay there again next time!

This was my 2nd visit to the hotel in 3 months and it has proven to be a good decision. The rates are excellent for what is offered and the hotel met my needs as a writer.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 53Outstanding Hotel, but service from front-office was below acceptable standard.
We called to inform the hotel that we would arrive in town after 1a.m. We got there at about 1:30a.m. and there was no-one at the front desk. We called the hotel number, called out at the desk and still, no-one. My husband finally called another Sheraton in Houston and found a nice lady who somehow managed to track down someone who tracked down the fellow on duty. We waited in the lobby for 45 minutes before he came out, whereupon he proceeded to lie that he was at the back doing the audit and would have heard us if we'd called - and that he'd been back there for less than 20 minutes. Needless to say, we were not amused. When my husband informed the manager, all he said was "ok. we'll tell him". My husband finally told him that that was NOT an acceptable response and that we wanted some sort of compensation. He promised to give us an upgrade and a good deal on our next stay in Houston... we're yet to see if he keeps his word. Apart from that unpleasantness, the hotel was clean and very comfortable. We didn't stay in the area much, so no comment about the surrounding area. It was definitely a fantastic deal.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 11 of 53Dissapointment starts at the check-in
We were a late arrival. Greeted, and I use the term very loosely, by a front desk personnel that didn't even look at me let alone acknowledge my existance until a TV commerical came on. Again, even thou he spoke there was no eye contact, no verbal exchange of information regarding my room, the hotel, etc. We booked business class, yet didn't get it. Our room smelled of cigareetes, even thou we booked non-smoking.

Great for price I paid. Centrally located considering the size of houston. Check in was fast, although I didn't check in at peak time

This was a nice hotel with only two things that could have been done better. First, a dirty washcloth was left on the back of the toilet. Secondly, the soda vending machine on the floor was completely sold out for the entire weekend. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet.
