Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 17Pre-digital coolness
Each room feels like it could be your apartment. Great gym facilities. BBQ and Bar right by the pool. (Two pools, btw) ... Two restaurants - one a great diner with a hostess that sings Judy Garland tunes on occasion. The other in the bar is great for late night eats - charge it all to your room! Great vibe - great perks/conveniences - awesome staff. Can't wait to go back.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 17Great place to hang out
The Ace is a great place to lounge by the pool with friends, good food and atmosphere with a nice view of the mountains. The restaurant was great but it would be nice if they offered some late night snacks. The rooms are nice but they need some darker curtains, the sun will shine right thru your white curtains and wake you early in the morning.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 17Too Trendy.
No counter space in bathroom... but two sinks. Very low furniture which gets old. FORM OVER FUNCTION! Fun staff, fun trendy people stay here. Kinda noisy at night because of people having a good time... this is a party hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 17Edgy, funky, off-beat retreat.
Either you get it, or you don't. For those who get it- ACE is the place. If you don't- stay far, far away. =)

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 17A very fun alternative boutique appeal and 24-hour pool with an excellent sweet tea...
however, wasn't worth the price paid... not much to do other than the pool. food was mediocre. the dj they claimed to have on Sundays you would never even know he was there. i don't think i'd stay there again even if they gave me a free room to return...

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 17Best hotel in Palm Springs!!
I don't even know where to start! I needed a quick getaway and really wanted to stay at the Viceroy, but it was all sold out. For the same price as a standard room at the Viceroy I got a full on suite at Ace! It even had a japanese style bath where the shower and bath are in one room but separate! Great surprise! The room was huge and decorated so nicely! Pool staff was so great. Definitely crowded, but good for kids and even couples. Food was absolutely delicious. The owner of the restaurant even did a broadway number for the guests. It was great! I even got a deal where I received 20% off of all hotel expenses. So worth it! This is a must stay. I can't imagine staying anywhere else in Palm Springs after Ace.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 17Great hip environment!
I absolutely loved my stay at this great property! The service was excellent, the surroundings were beautiful and the environment around the pool was hip, friendly and very accepting. I would definitely recommend it to all of my friends. My only recommendation would be that the hotel have some type of darker shade over the window. The white canvas window cover was in keeping with the decor, however, when the sun came up at 5:30am in the desert, the room was flooded with light and it made it difficult to sleep beyond 6am.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 17slightly expensive
The hotel is a converted old howard johnson so the physical plant is limited by that a high style resort it isn't...however the service is fantastic and the whole place has a funky enjoyable vibe. mid week was great as we had the pool to ourselves...the beds are amazingly comfortable...not fancy but extremely enjoyable and comfortable....the outdoor patios are really nice.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 17Great Fun Hotel
This was a great experience, the hotel is fun, the pool and hot tub are brand new, the service and restaurant are both great. The rooms are very clean with all new furniture and probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 17Fun Hotel, Definitely will Return
I had a group of 25 people and we all stayed here for spring break. We had a great time, the restaurant was delicious, and the hotel pool is open 24/7. The hammocks and beds along the pool are also nice touches, and the pool bar came in handy.
