sufficient for basics

The Hilton had an exceptionally comfortable bed and the room was very clean. The location was prime for being close to the St. Louis Lambert Airport. However, there was no vending or ice machine anywhere on the floor. It required going to another wing. For the price of the room, paying for parking did not seem necessary. I was suppose to have a room with a king size bed and flat screen TV, but there were none available unless I wanted smoking.

Good room for your money

The parking area was a HUGE INCONVIENCE!!! To say the least. The spots where very small and behind the hotel building, with no back entrance inside. Hilton charged $10 per day, which seems too high if you stay several days like I did. It was an inconvenience to me and my husband and I found myself upset about it everytime we left or returned to the hotel. The room itself was not bad. The rooms where cheap and decent. The front desk lady was not very pleasant but we only had to deal with her once. In all our experience was a 6 out of 10.

Good Hotel

I didn't like the bathroom but I loved the bed. I had a good night sleep both nights.

Needs Improvement

The hotel was somewhat clean, but very dated. We were lucky enough to have been assigned a room on the more renovated tower. the check desk, they were very nice, professional and courteous. The door to our room would not shut without excessive force; we had to call and request extra towels because we were given 1 face cloth a piece. The housekeeping person that cleaned our room was not friendly, actually a little rude when she knocked and we told her it would be a few mins before we were ready to leave so she could come in and clean and our DO NOT DISTURB sign was hanging on the outside of the door. THe breakfast buffet, was awful, there was no food selections, the chef that made cook to order omelets ran out of half the ingredients and the buffet still had over an hour left to be open....

Awesome Hotel & Staff

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during our Honeymoon. The hotel was easy to find and close to everything we wanted to see and or do while in STL. The Staff was outstanding while we were there & the rooms were very nice. The bed was so comfortable, the best one I've ever slept in at a hotel by far. Planning to stay here again on our next stop through STL.

very nice hotel

nice rooms but could update a bit. the resturant's buffet breakfast was great. my husband is an executive chef and was impressed.
