Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 12Palm Springs Glamour
I first stayed at this hotel when it opened about 8 years ago and wasn't sure if it's glamour would have withstood the test of time, but it did so and then some. We requested a room that was a step up from the basic (one with two queen beds) and we were pleasantly surprised with its roominess. Large, clean, beautifully appointed, and even though the entire hotel is decorated mainly in white, it hasn't lost much of its luster. One note: unless you don't mind tiny rooms, I wouldn't recommend the lowest rung choice here... but even those are still lovely- just small. The pool was heavenly and the Estrella spa divine - definitely worth the cost of a treatment. We were in luck because we stayed on a Thursday night and on Friday were able to take advantage of the midweek spa special: half-off spa services. I love this hotel and would definitely stay again. Fantastic location, great service, comfortable and glamorous. Oh - and if you stay Friday-Sunday, there's an incredible and FREE outdoor yoga class that you shouldn't miss! That was one of our favorite parts of the trip.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 12Inviting and Relaxing hotel!
Stayed here for one night and loved every second! Hotel Staff was helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Suggested great restaurants in the area. Pools were quiet and clean - breakfast was delicious. Great little bar scene at night for a drink. Hotel offers bicycles to cruise around town AND allows small pets! Would stay here again anytime.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 12Hidden Gem - Great Price for the Service
If you are looking for the Four Seasons, this isn't for you. If you are looking for a beautiful hotel in Palm Springs that makes you feel appreciated - this is the place. Pools are well stocked with towels, water, and the service came by every 30 minutes. No one will bang on your door with the side of a key to clean (hallelujah). Rooms need a bit of TLC before high season (ie air conditioner looked and worked like it was second or third hand ...) Cannot wait to return. Note - one pool is for families, so two pools are more "intimate"/"romantic". Spa is closed on Mondays ... so just in case you need to be there on a Monday - you cannot get FULLY pampered.

If you are lookin for a quite place to relax and be treated like royalty than the Viceroy Palm Springs is for you! Gracious staff, great food, relaxing atmosphere. The pool is great, chairs fill up quick so make sure to put your towel down. Staff goes out of their way to make your stay an amazing one.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 12"Superb Staff, So-So Surroundings"
The staff went out of their way to be helpful and refer to us by name. The rooms, though large and comfortable, were in need of some deep cleaning and repair (broken chandelier, stained chair, etc.)

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 12Adequate for the money
Excellent service but outdated room facilities. Rooms need better storeage and space accomadations and a bit better amenities such as coffee makers etc.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 12"Tired" property
I'm sure the property was lovely in days gone by, but it's dated and tired and service is not what we expect in a four-star hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 12Modern Amusement
Great hotel for the money. Modern, updated with great service. Wasn't very happy with our room. Would recommend upgrading to Prem. Studio. Hotel itself felt a little cramped especially around the lobby area. I would come back here for a quick getaway with my significant other.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 12Fantastic Experience
The poolside service extends beyond menu items and drinks. These very cordial individuals make sure that you have bottled water on ice, bring around trays of fresh orange slices or watermelon and are generally delightful to converse with. The customer service that we received was out of this world, from the people at check in to the people who cleaned your room. Beautiful grounds; crisp, clean comfortable rooms, great beds and bedding that you KNOW is clean. Walking distance from GREAT restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Staying here was like finding the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. What a refreshing treat.
