Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 13Great room for the money
The check in was handled very well, especially since we requested an early checkin since we had just flown in on a redeye. The first room offered was rejected because it had a definite odor from a previous guest who must have smoked in the room, even though the plate on the door said non-smoking. The second room offered was most acceptable and advantageous because we could open a window and get fresh air. Even though the room was on the street side of the building the noise level was not obtrusive.

We had convention at the HP Pavilion, it was the closest and affordable, walls are then and can hear people but other than that. It did it's purpose.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 13Unexpected Very Pleasant Stay
The design of hotel was very homey and made you feel welcome which you seldom see. The room had everything you could ask for including large refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker. There was a nice breakfast waiting for you each morning, including eggs and bacon, not just a continental breakfast. A free dinner was also available. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. We will gladly stay there again and highly recommend it.

This Hotel is very good for money. Hotel is beautiful, well designed & rooms are bigger. Few lights in room were not working. Exhaust places were dusty.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 13Good Hotel - Weird light controls
Clean room, nice bed, good free WiFi, good continental breakfast. The sign upfront says free breakfast and free dinner. However, dinner is only Mon-Thu. The bathroom comes with a 2-person jacuzzi, however, the controls for the jacuzzi and all the light switches are located outside the bathroom. There are two light switches, one for the regular light and another for the "heat" light (which is a timer). The regular light switch also turns on the fan, which seemed to want to take off. Very noisy. If you can't stand the noise and turn on just the "heat" light and it times out while you are relaxing in the jacuzzi, you'll be relaxing in the dark.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 13Great Hotel!!! Better than most Upscale hotels!!!
This place is a gem! Jacuzzi tub, free breakfast and dinner, free parking and great customer service. Nice place, good location! Stay here before you stay at the Marriott or Hyatt or any other upscale overpriced hotel!!!

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 13Perfect Location
If you are going to anything at the HP Pavilion, this is the place to stay. Walking distance to food and fun. I would go back in a heart beat.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 13Conveneince with style
top notch or better on all counts. It transformed us to another time. clean and tidy. extremely well-kept which explains the superb maintenance and endurance of this old hotel. very polite staff, boys and girls. We didnt have time to try the food, but two meals a day (Bfast and dinner) must be worth something. we stayed for a week in a suite overlooking the street, a little noisy on weekends but nothing we couldnt live with. some ultra-noisy upstairs neighbors but that was taken care of with a call to the front desk. (thanks Jonathan and Anthony and the girls). would definitely recommend it and stay there again.
