Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 245Nice hotel
Nice hotel, helpful staff but beds were a little uncomfortable and could use some new mattresses possibly? And the selection of television channels was extremely limited.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 245Good for the money
The location of this hotel was great. The cleaning staff forgot to vacuum the floor the first night. Also, we had to pay for a 'resort' fee, even though we didn't use any of the amenities. But overall, it was a good experience.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 245Hotels.com and Monte Carlo charged me
Beware of the "Resort Fee" that's added to your account upon check in. It's only $9.50 but they claimed it was for 2 bottles of water, a newspaper, and free 800# calls. I indicated I didn't want these things and asked if this would be waived and they said no because these items were already in the room this was a mandatory charge. My room never had the items.

Trip Type: Business Review 6 of 245Good price, average room
The hotel is very basic compared to the other options close by but ok value if the rates are low. The internet did not work in the room, the TV channel selection is the worst I have seen since the early 1990's (and that was a hotel in Honduras). They seem to be looking to save too much on basic items like the TV selection and they charge way to much for random items like the $7 orange juice on the breakfast menu. Some clever person figured out that people look at the price of breakfast (12.95) but not the price of the juice.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 245Good location
Pro: Situated in the strip, good location surrounded by many restuarants, many different shops and specially CVS which is right around the corner. Con: I booked a top floor,31st, paying extra and hoping to get a better view of the strip but the left side of the view was totaly blocked by the high rise construction.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 245resort fees
When we checked in, we were not notified that there were resort fees to use the gym. If you do not pay the $9 a day fee, you are then charged $20 per person at the gym. They said that we could easily add the resort fee, but would have to pay for the the whole time we were there even though or stay was half over...

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 245Change is needed
The pool chairs are old, rooms need to be cleaned better and in need of new comforter. They need a better draw to the hotel~ bands, bars a club etc... The pool entertainment was good! I checked in early which they were great about, but told me a king was not ready and I would be charged $10 per night extra for a room up higher. It was funny because a chick-in associate next to us told a group the opposite, that all they had were kings ready. I almost started to laugh. Then I was hit with a resort fee of $10 per day. I use to love MC. The hotel could be so great with the right managment. They took out local concepts like the bagel shop that was a great moring get to geather with friends. Now it's MCd Starbck no uniqueness! MC is located perfect on the strip.
