Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 12Great Find
Great location, comfortable accomodations, and friendly staff. Staff made extra efforts to make sure we enjoyed our stay including locking up our bags so we wouldn't have to drag them around while we waited for our room (we arrived early) and recommending restaurants in the area (that were actually good and not overpriced.) Rooms are small but fine (as long as you like your traveling companion)- and the special additions like built-in surround sound, trendy decor, a Boston guide book to borrow, and free bottled water made up for it. The main selling point is the location- right by Boston Public Library, Trinity Church, Copely subway station, and all the bars and restaurants in the Back Bay. You can easily walk to Fenway Park too. The price is very reasonable for a nice hotel in a good location in Boston. Would definitely stay there again and will recommend to others.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 12hip hotel
It had an attractive, contemporary vibe, and there was a hip bar on the first floor. The breakfast was disapponting--just bagels (and maybe some fruit), but no cereal.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 12Small Room, Great Location
Cozy room, the bed is nothing to brag about. The tiled shower floor felt great on the feet even though the shower was small. It is right next to a subway station, and there was shopping all around. Great Hotel for a good price.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 12Not bad, but not great
We just came back from a stay at the Charlesmark. The best part was the location: close to anything you might need and across the street from the T (subway), which can take you almost everywhere. The hotel is clean and well kept and the neighborhood is upscale and very pretty. However, the room we had was tiny (had a gigantic bathroom, though) and we felt sort of claustrophobic. Also, the parking garage the hotel has a deal with was 5 or 6 blocks away, a pain in the neck if you want to go anywhere not accessible by the T. The size of the room was really the clincher for us -- we were prepared for small, but not that small.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 12Great location, beautiful hotel!
Could not have been better. Right next to Copley station on MTA, a quick walk to the Common. Beautiful hotel, beautiful room. I will go back!

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 12Boutique
The hotel definitely fits the bill of being a "boutique" hotel. There is a very trendy bar/lounge and food is available from the restaurant next door. The rooms are small(not so small that each person con't get out of bed easily--something we experienced at another "boutique" hotel) but well appointed. The area is very nice and the location is convenient to the "T." Hotel personnel were also very helpful.

Trip Type: Family Review 11 of 12Great Value/Great Location
Excellent location and value for money. Reduced parking rate at nearby garage, 5 min. walk. Rooms small but efficient, more like European size. Continental Breakfast had excellent muffins, bagels and donuts as well as good coffee.
