Worth the price

I was a bit hesitant because of the price, but to my suprise the room was worth the price..

Great value

We have stayed at the El Cortez before and have always enjoyed it there.Tower rooms and large and nice.Really like that you need a room key to use the elevators now.Ice machine on our floor did not work our first night but house keeping took me to another floor for ice.(was fixed the next day)Air gets reallt cold but nice after a day in 100+ weather.Flame and coffee shop have great food for a very good price.

Great for the money

For the price, I would happily recommend El Cortez. We were upgraded to a suite when we arrived which was a nice suprise. Elevators can only be accessed with hotel key so I felt very secure. Room was clean and lovely and we were just minutes from the strip. Only complaint would be the unexpected $50.00 hold charge on my credit card even though the rooms were paid in full weeks before our arrival. The money was released upon check out and credited back to my account w in a week

Excellence

El Cortez Hotel and Casino is a excellent place just to get away and relax and enjoy yourself. Also the hotel was in the greatest location, everything was in the area.The staff was very polite and caring. I would recommend El Cortez Hotel and Casino to everyone.

Value for the money

Not the most elegant rooms in Las Vegas, however, if you want a clean, comfortable room at a great price, this is it. And people in the casino remember your name when you go down to play.

Choose the Cabana Suites

We stayed in the Cabana Suites. It is part of the hotel, but a non-smoking separate building. It was just rebuilt (interior) completely a month ago. VERY clean, very stylish hotel. I recommend it 100%. Glass-wall showers. Big king size beds. Clean room, refrigerator. We had 2 suites (we+4 kids), paid like 35 USD for each/weekday night. Worth it. Free parking is just accross the street.
