Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 94Felt unsafe inside the hotel
Very unconfortable bed, noisy, could hear everything from surroundings. People staying and the energy was not harmonious. Felt unsafe, not recommended for families. Next door, big fight broke up, had to call reception. They came right away and it dissipated.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 94Worst hotel front desk service in the freemont district
Since the change of ownership, the hotel has seen a huge decrease in hotel service from the front desk area to service in their dining establish- ments. This hotel just does not focuss on hospitality.I made an attempt to see the hotel manager on an issue which I received no attention what so ever. This hotel has gone down-hill in a rapid speed. It's now a budget hotel in my view. Should you dicide to dine in one of their dining establishment be prepared to wait-service is severely slow.....

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 94Good Value
Stayed 4 nights at the new Cabana Suites, located across the street from the main hotel. This is my second time staying in the Cabana Suites. On both visits, I banged my shin on the bed footer that protrudes out farther than the matress. The room is very comfortable, but the air conditioner is too loud and drowns out the television audio.

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 94Has it good and bad points
I would recomend that you stay in tower section of the hotel. The food was very good but our room was in the pavillion side and that was not what i had expected the bathroom sink was broken the show had mold in the wall when you ask for something like a towel it took for ever to get in.

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 94Very Nice
You cannot beat the hotel at these prices. Hotel is clean, rooms are clean, staff meembers are nice and the loction - short walk to the Fremont Street stuff, great. Have stayed here twice now - just booked a third. Recomended to a friend, he is hooked now. Much smaller environment than the strip - I like that

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 94Great deal for the money
my room was as many fingers as I have for each night i stayed and yes i have all my fingers. the area is a little seedy but i was traveling alone on business and didn't have plans to pass hours in the room. I probably would not bring my family here, but for just needing a place for me to crap, shower and shave this was acceptable.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 94A diamond in the rough
I paid a very little amount per night for this hotel because I wanted the adventure of being in the old part of Downtown Las Vegas. I was amazed when I arrived and saw that the hotel actually looked very clean and updated. When I checked in, I was told they were short on rooms in the tower so they upgraded me to their Cabana rooms across the street. I was a little hesitant at first, but when I want over there I could not believe it. First of all there is 24 hour security and a doorman. The lobby is completely new with black and white marble tile, a plush couch in front of a large flat screen tv. Complimentary fruit, newspaper, and exercise area as well. The rooms are small, but are redone with the latest conveniences like a 50" flat screen TV on the wall, I-pod charging deck/alarm clocks, and the bathroom was gorgeous! If you are a Gambler, they do have a nice little casino in the main building and the slots were pretty loose. Also to consider that the hotel is located within a 5 minute walk to the Freemont Street Experience as well as the Deuce busline that will take you to the strip. The hotel also has a complimentary shuttle to take you back to the airport. I would gladly stay at this hotel again even if the price was considerably more.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 94No hot water
Hot water switched from hot to cold, then cold to hot, then hot to slightly cold then warm, in a matter of seconds throughout my shower.
