not good

The room was dirty and it had drug paraphernalia all over the dresser. Then they switched us to a room and the ac didn't work properly! I would not recommend......

Great Beach location

We picked this hotel for its beach convenience and it did not disappoint. The only thing I did not agree with was being charged to use the beach chairs and umbrellas. The hotel had a beautiful lobby, but the rooms could use a little updating. We were very satisfied with the hotel employees and services. Just an FYI you will be charged a mandatory fee for the in-room safe. It is only $1 a day, but we were not told before hand. We would definitely stay here again.

Room was large and comfy

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was curtious and very helpful in finding us a room to our standards. Overall very enjoyable stay. We will come back.

Awsome place

I like the stay at this hotel and i have spend 4 nights that wont be forgettable>

As expected

Hotel was as expected, clean, small beach but good, nice pool, great tiki bar with friendly bartenders. short cab to Las Olas Blvd.

Great Hotel

I was a little wary about booking this hotel because i wasnt familiar with it- but i must say- i was very pleasantly surprised-especially after reading some of the reviews- the staff was so welcoming and kind - the hotel was clean and location was great-could have easily managed without a rental car- lots of shops and grocery stores nearby- great beach- the only thing was that i brought a blanket to lay on the beach in front of the hotel and they wouldnt allow me to do that cuz they wanted to "rent" the cabanas and lounge chairs- but i moved down the beach and it was okay. Oh and the tiki bar behind the hotel was awesome!!

Direct Beach Front Hotel -Pool, Jacuzzi, Great Price, Recommended!

We were apprehensive after reading some bad reviews, but thought we would give the hotel a try … and were so glad we did! Some misunderstandings from past reviews: regarding friendliness of the staff- upon check in, we were greeted with a smile, we asked to see a room first, they gladly gave us keys to 3 rooms, more if we wanted, to see to assure us that the room was to our satisfaction, rooms are updated, with frig, microwave, lock box- $1/day(glad to pay for security),hairdryer and maid service daily-Note: tell the maid when you leave so one can clean while you are out. Note: Stay on South side above 6th floor (here you will have your own balcony with a left side view of the Ocean and right side view of the inter-coastal water and city). Do not stay on lower floors due to roof A/C noise. Valet Parking is NOT required, hotel did charge $9/day whether you park yourself or not, but if you want to Park Your Own Car you can, just ask for a permit and park in hotels private lot across the street, very close walking distance. Amenities: Beach-Excellent-Jet Ski rentals on beach! Note: use beach elevator for quick access, Pool warm as bath water-you get one free pool towel a day each, use on the beach for blanket ok, Jacuzzi- Hot! Comforting, Tiki Bar at pool- friendly bartenders, two boutiques in lobby and a gym. Concierge desk very helpful and willing to go the extra for you; even printed directions for us. Be assertive, nicely tell the staff what you want and they will do it, if not happy tell them, they truly want you to be happy. Location-Excellent: 1 mile North in Lauderdale By The Sea- Aruba’s restaurant with live entertainment, two cafes with outside dining, great for breakfast under $5 each! Fort Lauderdale a quick drive to the South. Across the street from hotel: McDonald’s, Dunkin Donuts, Grocery store. Best Italian-Nick’s Restaurant-upper level balcony. Would Stay Again

This hotel was very good overall. The location, on the beach, is another excellent reason to stay.

Great Location

The pool view is outstanding! I recently had my reception outside there and it was just wonderful. The rooms were okay!

Do not go to this hotel

The hotel is currently under construction and elevators have strange odor. The only good thing about the hotel is the location .... ocean front-property, that's all.

Needs improvement

Overall the stay was good. However the way that the people at the front dest talk to me was very negative and there was alot of noise from construction activities on the first floor. I also noticed a lady that fell on the floor from water. The room also had a worn carpet and there was like mildew on the bathroom door frame.
