Very good place to stay for the price! I stayed for a businees trip! Great rate for the beach to relax at night!

Great Hotel

For the cost of the room and location of the hotel (directly on the beach) you can't beat it. The staff is great and the Tikki Bar is right there!

Not reccommended.

Needs a lot of work, everything is old and dirty. Good location but that is the only positive.

Not worth the price

hidden charges once we checked in, charge for parking that we were never told of, charge for room safe that we never use, not a very frendly attitude of hotel staff.

Got what I paid for.

Lobby was very nice. Good location and nice beach. 6th floor rooms we tired. About what you'd expect from a low cost hotel. I'm sure it was once glamorous, not any more. Parking was $9.00 per night above hotel room price.

Can I get a corkscrew?

I stayed at this hotel for a conference. While the beach and pool area were beautiful, the rest of the hotel was lacking. The management seemed spotty. The valet service was excellent, but the rest of the service pretty much sucked. The bartender refused to let me use a corkscrew, or even a knife, to open a bottle of wine in my room, leaving me to open it with a shoe and cuticle scissors. My room was missing a light bulb and the microwave was not working because someone had painted over the electrical outlet, rendering it useless. The pillows were scant, so when I ordered three extra pillows and a light bulb from the front desk, they brought me three light bulbs and a pillow! I mean, come on, why would we NEED there lightbulbs anyway?! The microwave was just left there plugged in and painted over, as if nobody at the hotel cared. Housecleaning made the bed but then left dirty dishes from the hotel restaurant in my room. If you don't mind bad service, and you just want to go hang out by the pool or the beach, then this hotel might be ok for you. Also the food sucked.

Okay for money

Do not stay on second floor!! Had to move rooms due to noise coming from ac and generators running right outside of room!!

Great room on nice beach

I was surprised after some of the reviews stated less than full satisfaction. I was willing to try the Hotel just based on being on the beach for a great price but when I arrived I found that my room and the hotel exceeded my expectations. Nice Lobby, staff and my room was just fine with a refrigerator and microwave plus a semi beach view (as all rooms have) so I was quite pleased with everything.

Great Deal

I loved having the beach as the backyard for such a reasonable price. Having a microwave and refrigerator in the room makes up for some remodeling that could be done to spruce up the rooms.

Good location- average service

The locaTION is the best, right on the beach. Needs some minor repairs and cleaning is not a priority.

Excellent Value

I have stay there numberous time via Hotels.com and not once have I been unsatisfied. I highly recommend it!
