Sailport Waterfront Suites

Nice.

This was a nice hotel, considering the cheap price, it was a nice surprise. Away from the noise of the airport, yet just a short drive. The property had some nice little amenities out on the "beach" area.

We went to Tampa to go see a baseball game at Tropicana, and we were only planning to stay for one night. When we got there and saw the room, we all wanted to stay another night. The staff was amazing, when we went to the front and asked about staying they said it would be no problem and they even matched the price that we had for the first night. The room was beautiful, or rather the condo, it had two full bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a full kitchen and a living room area as well. We decided if we ever go to Tampa to stay there. The pool is rather small but nice enough, and the 'beach' was a sandy area with a few chairs, but that was ok, plenty of beaches near by if thats your thing. Only down side is that they are working on the roads, so if you are on the highway and there is an arrow pointing to a lane that you may need to be in, GET IN THAT LANE!!! We ended up taking a nice tour of the airport.. not so fun. I loved it, we had a great time.

One of the few condo like places in Tampa that I've found. Can't beat the price for a 2 bedroom condo fully equiped. Only 2 things I would want it to have to be ideal an actual beach area and a faster elevator... for the most part very clean and staff was friendly, they have late check out and if you want to stay longer for a small fee they will accomodate...Pool is nice size and always warm.. Delish!!! All rooms have a bay view (Spectacular) just to look out and relax at any time of the day.. Overall I enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to get away even if it's for a day... Loved the privacy of the individual rooms to enjoy with kids or friends... Manny good restaurants in the area and Clearwater Beach is just a hop,skip and a Jump away from the Hotel. Will be back soon for another weekend getaway!! :)Oh!! Great view for a small wedding!!

Wonderful Hotel!!!

We ended up getting one of the rooms that wasn't remodeled but the room was still really nice. The balcony had a beautiful view and the hotel was really clean...

Great room

The room was great! 2 bedroom suite was very spacious & beautiful a long with the kitchen area which was just gorgeous. The only thing was that there was no available breakfast, they only served sweet bread & coffee. I would recommend this hotel to those who are only staying for maybe only 1-3 days but I wouldnt recommend it to those staying for over 3+ days. Other than that, the view of Tampa Bay was outstanding & the room was worth the money. My bestfriends & I had a great time!

Fabulous value

We needed a hotel close to TPA airport to stage for a morning flight. The Sailport was very close and right on the bay. The suite was spacious, including a nice kitchen area and view of the bay. There are several restaurants around and the hotel offered coffee (and odd packaged pastries) in the morning. There also is a free internet computer in the lobby area where I was able to check the flts. The bedroom is in the back of the suite and both the bedroom and bathroom were reminiscent of my grandmother's basement guest area, including a bed that sagged from too many years of use. The linens were fine and clean. The bedroom window is on the hall side and subject to hallway noise. Luckily there wasn't much, except for ?pigeons? - pretty sure that's what the noise was.

Great Hotel

This hotel was a great getaway and right on the bay. The hallway outside was not to nice but the rooms were comfortable and nice! I will definitely be going back.

"Ok"

It is what it is. The good thing is that it was exactly 8 mins away from the airport. If your looking for just a place to stay with no extras I would recommend. Clean and well kept.

Great Room/Location for the Money

Clean, all-suites hotel with great bayviews. Spacious rooms, full-sized fridge & microwave.
