Not satisfied...

Bedsheets were dirty with stains, had to sleep on couch, no remote control and no one could get one. Was charged additional money on card, at check in we asked if we were going to be charged anything and were told no. Office manager was very rude, would not recommend this hotle to anyone.

Th eroom was filthy. It had "questionable" stains on the bed sheets. We had no remote for the TV in the bedroom and when we called they told us that they had run out of remotes and basically tough luck. Also the website said this had a jacuzzi, it did not. For someone whose has been in the hotel industry for a while, this was a horrible place.

Great room for the money

Check in took all of maybe 2 minutes at the most and parking was a breeze right underneath of check in desk. Then we were given room in the same building and the views were outstanding. The suite was spacious and very comfortable. I work in the hospitality industry and am familiar with both good and bad service and even here I was impressed with excellent service. We had to request a new remote (probably dead batteries) and not only did the engineer replace our remote he also fixed a couple of the blind strips which he noticed even before we did. I will definitely be back as soon as I can get some days off.

Great Location in Tampa FL

This was a great location. We could watch the dolphins in the morning and the sunsets in the evening. We were a short drive to many beaches and resturants. The staff was very helpful and courtesous. We will be back.

My favorite place in Clearwater/Tampa!

I absolutely love the Sailport... I used to stay here several years back... loved it then and now it is even better. Nice remodeling and still a great view. I recommend - great for the price too.

Sailport was a haven

Really enjoyed our stay and found the room to be comfortable and just right for the money. Watched dolphins from our balcony and then went down to the water and saw sting rays!! It was great. There was lots of water life activity and great fishing. Was greeted by Ren upon arrival and found him to be most accomadating and a great front desk person...loved him. I loved the room service and felt bad that they cleaned my kitchen mess...but was great to have someone do it for me for a change. The hotel is tucked in nicely from the hussle-bussle with great food close by and a beach club...not far from lots of great things to do!! Went for our first real vaca also for our 14th anniversary and loved every minute...thanks so much for making it a wonderful experience!!

Great Value

Most of remodeling was done, but go in there with the idea of a 3 star hotel and you'll be fine. separate living room, full kitchen, etc was nice but work was done was not top of the line. Not sure about the comments of "dirty rooms", ours was spotless and got cleaned frequently!! As long as you expect a 3 star, it's AWESOME! Sweet view, nice staff, huge rooms for the money, full NEW kitchen was a nice surprise. Was disappointed to see normal TV's not Flat Screens as well as no wired internet connection to hook up my XBox 360, but didn't end up playing anyways. The hotel has a mini-"store" in it, but prices are a bit high. If you expect a "resort" you will be disappointed, if you expect a 3 star hotel for a nice price, you will like it!

I can't wait to go back!!!

This place was amazing! It was huge. It was fully loaded. A full kitchen, a king sized bed, large living room space, and a gorgeous balcony overlooking the ocean. Beautiful!!! The only thing we noticed was that the shower was clogged a little. But water above our feet wasn't a major issue for us. The service was amazing!!! Everyone there was helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable. I guarantee no one will have a bad stay here and I can't wait to come back!!!

Sailport Waterfront Suites is a very good value for your dollar it is clean and you can reach any place in Tampa in Just a few minutes

Nice place for the family

I was looking for a place where we would not have to eat out the entire time we were there, we had a full kitchen with dishes and a stove and dishwasher. The carpet was a little threadbare and the bathroom was small, but the rooms were clean and had wonderful linens. We had a great view of the bay and we right by the pool and tennis court.
