Be careful of this property if you need wi-fi. They charge $11.95 plus tax for wi-fi service. Very outrageous, I think.

Very Nice

The hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful. The room was very nice and the view was amazing. After being on the road and in a Demolition Derby all night it was just what we needed. The beds were so comfortable it was like we just sank right in and were fast asleep. I would recommend and would gladly stay here again!

Cheap Weekday stay

Stayed 3 nights and was completely happy since I had my own car. If you want to casino hop, you need your own transportation.

Excellent hotel for the money

Very nice, clean hotel. Very homey.

Needs Inprovement

The room was a smoking room which I did not request. It smelled like an ashtray and I am a smoker but do not like smoking rooms or smoke inside a hotel or my home. The air was set at 72 degrees and when you tried to lower the temperature, the unit barely ran with only one small air stream coming thru so the circulation of the air was very poor. The carpet was filthy. While taking a bath, the toilet was open, and when I looked to the right toward the toilet, oh my goodness, whoever is cleaning the toilet does a poor job and it wasn't our waste, we had just gotten there! The ceiling/wall moldings was coming apart from the wall in some areas and had a black color where the molding met the ceiling. I was very disappointed. I stayed at this hotel a few years ago when it was the Grand and I could not believe how the rooms had not been maintained. I will never stay there again and would recommend that one think twice before staying there. The check in staff and the staff at the snack bar acted as if it was an imposition to assist you. I wondered if these people did not realize how thankful one should be that they actually still have a job in this economy.

wonderful buffet

really liked this hotel, but didnt like waiting for the shuttle bus, but loved the paula dean buffet would recommend it to anyone

Excellent room for the money!

Very nice room for the money and the beds were extremely comfortable. Check in was a little hectic because when you drive up there is no designated lane for checking in. The lanes are either for valet parking or the shuttle. After you get through that, however, it is a very pretty hotel and the best bargain I've ever gotten for a room.
