Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 18Very happy with our choice for 4rth of July
We stayed at this hotel for the 4rth of July. Proximity to a good viewing spot for the fireworks was great. Lechemere station (T stop) is less than a minutes walk from hotel entrance and Boston Garden is a 5 minute ride on the T, Fenway a 12 or 15 minute ride. Parking was free with room and the hotel staff let us park 5 hours before room check-in. The staff were helpful, cheerful and the room and bed and pillows were very comfortable and clean. We felt safe and taken care of our whole stay. The only possible complaint was the A/C unit was a little loud when it kicked in during the night.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 18Good Deal
The website said this hotel is undergoing renovation, but we were not inconvenienced in any way. When pricing other hotels, take note if there is a fee for breakfast, parking, and internet access, which can easily add $30/day to your bill. This was all included. Plus they let us stay parked in the garage for the afternoon even though we checked out. We were in town for a Red Sox game and so were a lot of other visitors. Getting to Fenway is easy--the T stop is across the street; transfer at Government Center.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 18Best Boston for Price
If you are visiting Boston and are not looking to spend $300 a night. Check out this hotel. About a 20 min T ride from Logan Airport. The T stop is less than a block from the hotel. I will stay again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 18Great Location
For anyone who doesn't know Boston, this hotel was in a great location to just about everything. The train station is right across the street and it is just a 5min ride to the heart of Boston. The hotel is very clean, friendly and the beds were very comfortable. I will definitely be staying there again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 18Horrible Customer Service
The hotel overall was very nice and had a great location for the price. The free parking was a nice bonus. However the customer service was horrific. Any problems that came up were not dealt with and there was a general vibe of just not caring within the staff

Trip Type: With Friends Review 9 of 18Good Hotel, So-So Location
My stay at the Hampton was enjoyable, the room was not too big, but adequate and comfortable. The staff was very helpful and answered every question we had. Also the free breakfast buffet was pretty good and had some hot items like sausage and french toast sticks. My only real complaint was that there was really nothing around the immediate hotel area, at least for evening entertainment. However, the Lechmere T is a 5 min walk from the hotel, so it is accessible. Overall a little pricey for what you get but you could do alot worse.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 18Good Hotel
The service and appearance of the hotel was very good. It's located just accross the street from a T Station, which is very convenient. The rooms were a bit small - only enough room for the furniture and small waking space. If you choose a smoking room, know that there is no ventelation, not even in the bathrooms. Overall the rooms were comfortable, the people were helpful and knowledgable, and the location was perfect. I would stay again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 18Good choice
The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. We didn't know our way around the city and they provided us with maps and suggestions. The green line train was just across the street and only a few stops to popular places of intrest. Was very pleased to have free, safe parking below the hotel. They let us check in early and let us keep are car in the garage after we checked out so we could get the most of the day in Boston. Breakfast was decent. Would stay there again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 12 of 18Great Location, Nice Staff
The Hotel is conveniently located directly across from the Lechmere T Stop (Green Line), and only 3 or so stops from the Government Square stop where you can pick up other subway lines. The front desk staff are welcoming and helpful, and the hotel serves a nice complimentary breakfast. Having the free garage parking on site is also a big plus! Overall, the Hampton Inn is a nice option for staying in Cambridge.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 18Location, Comfort, and a Good Breakfast
We went over the July 4th holiday, and having the train/bus station across the street was awesome! Trains to downtown Boston and the waterfront every ten minutes saved us time, money, and so much stress. The breakfast was the best I've had - the food selection was much better than at the room we stayed in after leaving Boston (at a chain that talks a lot about how great their breakfast is... but it's no match for this Hampton Inn), and the coffee was truly gourmet. The only improvement to the food would be to maybe have a waffle iron and some batter... but the fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, biscuits, toast, bagels, pastries, etc. more than made up for it. The 2Q room was comfortable for three big people. No sofa, but there was a nice desk and free Internet. Our view was a city street, but that's the only way to have the train station right there, and there was a cool little antique store next door and several good restaurants nearby. A prettier view would have sacrificed these city amenities being so close. The only improvement to the room itself I could possibly suggest is to have a larger selection of cable TV channels. Everything else was great.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 18Outstanding Hotel
Excellent hotel for the price we paid. Excellent front desk staff! They were VERY helpful to two small town women who were in Boston with their two little girls and both very nervious about finding their way around the Big City! Our room was very clean, bathroom great and breakfast in the morning fantastic! The best part was free parking in underground garage! Thanks Hampton Inn!
