Good experience

My husband and I only spent one night here. We were in the area for a meeting. The motel has a nice, quaint and comfortable feel to it. It had an inn-like quality to it with all the natural woodwork. The rooms are clean, but small. For one night it was fine, but it would be less that satisfactory for a longer stay. The continental breakfast was superior and very much appreciated. No problems with check in or check out.

Great room for the money and location

The hotel is older but it is well-maintained, clean, very comfortable and has a gorgeous view of the Outer Banks beaches. It is located in a great area, easily accessible to a variety of locations/entertainment/dining. I would strongly recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. The lobby and restaurant on the main floor is very comfortable and gives you a warm feeling of "home-away-from-home".
