Good, but could be better

The hotel looks nice and has good water view on channel, but you have to take a taxi or drive car to the beach. You, probably, can take a water taxi to Las Olas. Looks like you need some kind of transportation to anywere you want to go. I guess this can be compansated by price. It is much chipper than those on the beach line. The room was clean with a lot of towels. Windows do a good job blocking outside noise, but there is no good noice isolation from corridor - any time someone speaks on the corridor it feels like they are talking in the room. Shower had two shower heads - very nice. I liked that very much. The shower had frosted glas wall, but no door. Some water from shower was on the floor. I did not like sliding doors into bathroom. You can see bathroom even when doors are closed. Room had a good design, nice lights in bathroom, HD TV. Bed was comfortable. It's a good hotel for a price. Would be much better if no noice from "inside"

Nice hotel

This hotel was very nice the rooms were good size and had everything that we needed. The shower was broken but still usable. We didn't ask the hotel to rectify the situation as it was still usable.

Awesome Hotel

Loved the View of the Marina, great food places in the Hotel, pretty Central in the Ft. Lauderdale area.

Great Hotel

This hotel was gorgeous and had a fun pool and bar area with great food. Only compaint was the hotel was pretty empty and we had to wait an extra two hours for our plane but they wouldnt even accomodate a late checkout after 1 even though the hotel was empty. Someone even came to our door checking off a list at exactly 1pm. kinda pushy!

Post card view/Plush comfort!

The post card view from our room was great by day and night. The bed was plush and very comfortable. Hotel staff were fabulous!

Great room for the money

Very pleased with every aspect of the Hotel with the exception of the charge for parking space. We do feel that this charge of $19.00 self-park or $23.00 valet parking per night should be disclosed at the time of booking. This is the first time that we have ever had to pay to park our car on a Hotel's property. One would assume that paying to stay in the Hotel would include parking facilities. Other than this, enjoyed our stay.

It is a bit expensive, but you pay for what you get. The room was very clean!Parking is the "hidden fee", so be careful because you are either charged $19 for self parking or $23 by valet per day. I would recommend this hotel.

Not enough pool chairs in the sun

One big downside to this hotel: the main tower (west villa) blocks the sun for a significant portion of the day. this creates a problem because only a selection of pool chairs are in the sun. Hotel guests are quite cutthroat about 'reserving' chairs by placing one single personal item on a chair and then NOT showing up for hours to 'claim' their chair. Or reserving several chairs for friends who don't show up for hours. And if you attempt to use a chair that's not currently occupied, many guests will actually yell / admonish you for doing so. It's a little like being at a junior high school cafeteria! Hotel management does not provide any assistance, not even in the form of having waitress service by the pool for drinks or lunch. So if you get up to get a drink while you are sitting by the pool, you may find your belongings removed from your chair and someone else sitting on it when you return (seriously, this happened, in a matter of 10 minutes).
