Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 18Nice room.......with a butt
Was not happy to find out that self parking was $20 a night. This should have been stated in the information provided about this hotel. The room was nice, clean, modern decor.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 18Nice but....
The hotel was overall nice. We had no problems with staff, and the house keeping team was excellent. Over all I would recommend this hotel if we you don't mind $19.00/day for parking and the distance to the tourist attractions and the beaches. Also be careful what time of year you travel, we ended up at this hotel during the volleyball tournament and the hotel was taken over by pre-teens and teenager. The pool also has poor night time lighting not safe at all.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 18Great Hotel
Service was great in all respects. The staff were very helpful and polite. Rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable. Excellent pool and pool side bar so perfect for relaxing. Its about a mile to be beach but a complimentary hourly shuttle bus is available. Overall, a great hotel that I would highly recommend.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 18Nice place, horribly uncomfortable bed
It is a nice location, very scenic on the water, and nice pool with poolside bar. The two things I didn't like were the bed was verrrry uncomfortable ... no box springs, just mattress placed on a wood platform, and the mattress had no give to it (not even sure if it had springs in it) and was very very uncomfortable. The other (somewhat expected) thing I didn't like was the outrageous prices in the restaurant. I mean, it was double or triple what it would cost for the same food at any comparable restaurant in the area. So, no, I didn't eat the food and don't know how it tasted. The staff was very nice and accomodating.

Trip Type: Romance Review 8 of 18Nice hotel, not so nice people
The rooms are very nice some need slight improvements, Staff not friendly or helpful. Ice machine on floor was broke all week, any questions were treated as a huge imposition on them. There are many other places to stay in there area, I would recommend checking them out.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 18We loved our stay
We thought our room was large...loved the balcony overlooking the pool. The restaurant onsite was very expensive but there were other places to eat within walking distance. Would definately stay there again if I could get the same room with the same view. Staff was nice and courteous.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 18Waterview?
Nice hotel. Well equipped room. "Water view" was actually a view of a really big yacht---kind of like looking into another hotel. Not what we expected. Other than that, our overall experience was great with the exception of check-in. The bellboys opened the trunk of my SUV without asking and almost dumped my golf clubs on the pavement. They wouldn't let us keep our bags in the vehicle while we checked in so we had to bring them inside. Then they took off with my keys so I had to wait until they were done valeting a car before I could get them back. Not a big deal and definitely didn't ruin our experience...just a little weird.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 18Trying too hard
Newly renovated, this place is trying too hard, and the rooms, clean and fresh, are not planned very well. Bathroom doors are not really doors - there is absolutely no privacy - and while the shower is equipped with a new "shower-bar" with wand and overhead spray, you have to get wet to adjust the temp of the overhead spray - and if it comes on hot, well...you get burned (shower controls are placed so that they can only be adjusted from within the shower, not from outside). There are reading lights next to the bed, but we never figured out how to turn them on - the switch next to the bed worked overhead lights near the balcony, instead. We enjoyed the outside bar, the view, the overall feeling of the place, and the staff was very nice.
