Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 26Great Hotel
The reception desk was very helpful in suggestions of what to do. They called a taxi for us and it was there in about 5 minutes. Nice people and nice hotel. The only problem was the location, not much was around the hotel.

our stay was very good. the room was clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay, including iron and ironing board in the room.the sheets were white and the mattresses were o.k.it was quiet as well. however, i wish that the breakfast selection would be a little better.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 26Not worth the visit
The hotel smelled funny, the people were rude, the location had quite a bit to be desired. My boyfriend had issues taking a shower because he had to duck down to get wet (the showerhead was hung very low) and he couldn't see all of his head in the mirror in the bathroom. At a whopping 6'1", it seemed that the room may have been designed for short people. There are also no windows in the room which of course didn't allow for ventilation (hence the funny smell). It was more what I would expect from a motel 8, not a Ramada.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 26not the best
considering what we paid, they could have cleaned the cob webs from under the AC unit, or at least got the smell out of the room. the location wasnt that great, but they did have a free shuttle to the train station, which was nice. there is a bowling alley right next to the hotel thats open 24 hours (dont be fooled by the "deli/restraunt" at the alley, its like a snack bar), theres also a bar next to the hotel, the food is good, but the bar is an older crowd....all in all, its not a terrible hotel, but i probally would look for something in boston next time

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 26Nice Hotel, not the most convenient location
The hotel was better than expected for the price. It was hard to find a good price in Boston, but this hotel fit the bill. The only real issue with it was the free shuttle was not usually on time and sometimes the wait from the T station to the hotel could take a while.

The hotel was fine and the staff was nice. Our window looked out on a corridor...no natural life. The restaurants and bowling alley next door were great. Had to use shuttle to get from subway to hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 26What a bargain!
One thing the hotel doesn't list as a feature is the free shuttle to and from the JFK/UMass T station. If you're traveling without a car, or don't want to pay for city parking, taking the T is the best way to get around, and the Ramada Inn Boston's free shuttle service was a nice amenity. Oh, and it runs like clock work... leaves the hotel every 30 minutes and picks up from the T every :15 and :45 on the hour. Car parking is free at the hotel. As for the room, it was your average hotel room. Nothing fancy, but if you're only sleeping there, why would you want to pay for luxury? Our door lock was a little tricky and our air conditioner could have worked a little better, but overall there wasn't anything to complain about. The sheets were clean and that's what really matters! The continental breakfast was average, but it's included in your stay, so who's going to complain about a free breakfast? The lobby service was exceptional. When we first checked in, the kind older woman at the counter quickly showed us how to get around the city on the T and what stops to take to get to our locations. We'd gladly stay here again on our next trip!

The shuttle never arrived on time during my stay. It always seems to be running late. The mattress could use updating they were kind of stiff

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 26Good location to visit Boston historical sites
Shuttle leaves every 30 minutes till 11 at night to the "T" transit system. Tour bus (Red Line Trolley--Gray Line) picks up at 8:30 at the front door. Includes a Harbor cruise. Reserve at front desk. Good complimentary breakfast includes eggs, cereals, waffle maker, etc.

I especially found the shuttle service of pickup and returning you to airport and the service to the JFK/UMASS train a tremendous benefit.
