Trip Type: Business Review 1 of 39Review for business trip-Seaport World Trade Center
I BOOKED THIS HOTEL FOR MY COMPANY BECAUSE THE PRICES WERE CHEAP. WE WERE ATTENDING A TRADESHOW AT THE WORLD TRADE CENTER FOR 6 DAYS AND ALL THE OTHER HOTELS WERE PRICED EXTREMELY HIGH. THE SHUTTLE PICKED US UP FROM THE AIRPORT WHEN WE CALLED TO TELL THEM WE ARRIVED. THE CHECK IN WAS OK AND OUT OF ALL THE EMPLOYEES WORKING ONLY ONE WAS RUDE, THE REST WERE VERY NICE ALL WEEK. THE HOTEL LOOKS SCARY ON THE OUTSIDE AND IN THE HALLWAY. IT TOOK THE THREE OF US ABOUT 15 MINUTES TO FIND ROOMS BECAUSE THE NUMBERS DO NOT GO IN ORDER. THE HALLWAYS ARE VERY VERY COLD, THEY SAID BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT INSULATED. THE ROOM ITSELF WAS VERY CLEAN AND COMPLETELY FINE. BEING A WOMAN, IT HAD EVERYTHING I NEEDED IN IT. THE ROOMS VERY ALITTLE CHILLY SO I KEPT THE TEMPERATURE TO 85DEGREES EVERYNIGHT. THE HOTEL HAS FREE BREAKFAST WHICH IS PRETTY NICE. THE RESTRAUNT ATTACHED TO THE HOTEL HAS OK FOOD AND PRICES. THE AREA SURROUNDING THE HOTEL IS PRETTY MUCH NOTHING SO IF YOUR GOING TO GO FOR A VACATION I WOULD PAY THE EXTRA AND STAY DOWNTOWN ...ITS TOO MUCH OF A PAIN TO KEEP GETTING ON THE SHUTTLE AND SUBWAY. THE SHUTTLE LEAVES EVERY HOUR BUT TO GET PICKED UP YOU HAVE TO CALL AND THEN WAIT. I WAITED ONCE ONLY 5 MINUTES AND ANOTHER TIME 1HR 15MINS FOR IT TO COME GET ME AND TWO OTHER GUYS. I TOOK THE SUBWAY TO DOWNTOWN BOSTON FROM THIS HOTEL AND IT WORKED OUT FINE. I WOULD ONLY SUGGEST THIS HOTEL IF YOUR GOING FOR BUSINESS AND HAVE A SCHEDULE THAT ISN'T SPECIFIC TIMES.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 39Decent with two caveats
I found this hotel to meet my expectations in regards to location, convenience, and cleanliness. My two caveats are (1) I was placed in a first floor room that was in what I would call a "sun enclosure", that seemed to be an addition to the original building. The problem with that was that the hallway leading to my room was extremely cold and there is a lot of foot traffic past the room; (2) the business center was simply one (old) computer that I was not able to access because they had run out of internet cards

Trip Type: Business Review 4 of 39Boston PD
One reason I selected this hotel was that it was three miles from Logan Airport. However, when I departed at 0350 to drive to the airport for my 0550 flight, the Boston PD had closed the exit for the airport. I had to loop way around and sneak up on the airport on surface streets as though I was coming from Worcester... The PD had also closed other major arteries during my two weeks' stay, focusing on the Interstates and key avenues across town. Somebody needs to alert the mayor...

Trip Type: Business Review 5 of 39Great
This was the cheapest place we could find in the Boston area, and it was a great place. Nice rooms, and a great breakfast buffet the next morning.

It seems to be a converted Red Roof Inn. Not a bad hotel but not great. The employees were helpful and they had a shuttel to the T which was very nice.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 39Hotel Ramada in Boston
Overall the hotel service was fine. The people at the counter had lack of cordiality, no smiles along. The breakfast was good and the people taking care of this service too. It is a bit far away from downtown but somehow the price is low and the shuttle service works very good. My room had dust in the windows and in the air conditioner wall device. I am afraid they do not handle the details. The price was fine. I had problems to use the wireless internet system.

Trip Type: Business Review 9 of 39Service is King
I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star hotels with service that fellshort of what I expereienced at this Ramada Inn. The Hotel is a little dated and the location is a little south of the city, but their shuttle service, desk service and maid service are absolutely first class. The shuttle service trump, and price trump the fact that it is a little south of the city. The manager, counter staff, maids and especially the shuttle guys deserve a big thank you. It is rare these days to come across people who take pride in their work. The staff at this location do!

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 39No car needed...
I went to Boston for business then had the weekend to see the sites. I turned my rental car in on Thursday and spent several days without a rental car. I found the hotel shuttle to the subway to be very easy and the subway to be an excellent value, very easy to get around town. The hotel itself is okay, a little dated, looks like it once was a very nice hotel but time has took its toll. Rooms were clean, beds were good. The only real problem I had was with the extremely poor service with the free breakfast in the hotel. There is one older lady who is very rude. I dont know how she keeps her job, she must be related to the owner. You will know who she is when you get there. Buy, hey, its a free breakfast so I dont mind so much.

Its not a very expensive place and i very much appreciated the complimentary breakfast. Also, there is a nice bowling alley across the street.

Trip Type: Business Review 15 of 39Worst Ramada
I've stayed at Ramadas before and this one was the worst. I shoulve listened to the other reviewers but I figured Ramadas cant be too horrible. 1) The place smells like urine. 2) The surrounding area is not a good neighborhood. 3) Breakfast was bad- ended up eating at 7-eleven 4) Highway is noisy 5) The shower's are uncomfortable 6) The TV is an old CRT with the worst reception and quality is bad. I was watching golf and couldnt see where the ball was,
