Lovely hotel with great pool

My friend usually stays at hotels with at least a four-star rating, but due to space issues, we ended up staying here. We were both delighted. Great, well-maintained rooms, kind staff, and always a bowl of apples on the front desk. The pool was lovely as well, and their breakfast is one of the better ones I've had. Add to all this the fact that the hotel is right in the middle of my favorite Seattle neighborhood, and you have a great place to stay in a fabulous city.

Not worth the stay

Although the hotel property was good, our stay there was one of the most horrendous experiences I've had. We did not sleep at all the one night we stayed due to a loud, wild party next door that went on until about 3 a.m. and included screaming, loud banging and doors slamming. It seems in talking with the manager the next morning that a local person (from what I could see running in and out of the room, probably under 25) booked the room through a cheap third party vendor and proceeded to invite all kinds of people there to party. When we called the front desk, the man was not at all empathic and never sent security to check out the situation. Very bad time, especially because I probably paid more for my room than the inconsiderate trash next door.

Fantastic Hotel on the Hill

If you are looking to stay on the hill this place is it. I work for a hotel chain and was unable to get in at one of my properties downtown and found the Silver Cloud Broadway on Hotels.com. The hotel is located on Capitol Hill however they offer a complimentary shuttle to Pikes (it is actually an easy walk 20 mins or so), the rooms are large (mine included a wet bar, fridge and micro), clean and relatively quiet (my room faced Broadway). The staff was friendly and helpful. I will stay here again!

Always a Great experience

I stay here every time I come to Seattle and it is always a pleasure to stay here. The front desk associates are always helpful and friendly, great continental breakfast and the rooms are comfortable and big. This hotel never disappoints!

Good Room, Great Location

The Hotel was in a great location and I would stay there again. Just a few minor problems. the toilet was very dirty and the bed had an indent in the middle. You just automatically rolled toward the center to the big dent in the mattress, which made if very hard to sleep or get a good nights sleep. I would reccommed the hotel otherwise. It could of just been this particular room and cleaning service.

Hidden Costs

When we arrived, there were so many hidden costs added to our total. The manager was not at all helpful with our concerns.

I was impressed with the courtesy shuttle that dropped you off right in front of the stadium...great service, clean rooms, great price for what I was needing...just a good hot shower and a bed with a tv...no frills but great location with some great bars nearby...

it was ok

nice hotel. i was not told about paying for parking.my room had a couple of problems,the shower head sprayed into the bathroom so i had to wipe up water after showers.the fire place kept comming on by it self all night keeping me awake.the chair in the room had some major stains.but really read the fine print.

Great Hotel

Very nice hotel for the price! Great neighborhood, close to downtown, staff was very friendly.

Friendly front desk!

The employees of this hotel were uniformly helpful, kind, and friendly. Great breakfast, and a really nice facility in general - particularly the pool. The rooms were even nicer than I expected. I'll definitely recommend to friends.

Wonderful Experience

The employees were wonderful and very helpful. Free shuttle made it very convenient to get to everything we planned on seeing. Free breakfast was an added delicious bonus. Free washer & dryer were a plus. Overall the whole facility (rooms, amenities) were top notch and I would definitely return when we are back in Seattle.

wish it was closer to the water but overall nice

I didn't know it until the last hour of me being there but the hotel provides a free washer and dryer for everyone to use. I also had a room with a jacuzzi in it and well that was a bit much but fun at the same time. It was the second time that I was in that room and I really enjoyed it. I recommend the room service, they were prompt and well I guess you could say that I am a sucker for the garlic fries. I will be staying there again the next time I am in town

Great Location, Nice Room

Over all this was a good hotel. The rooms were a good size. The only issue I had were stains on the bathroom towels, giving the impression they weren't clean, but everything else seemed clean. It could be cheaper, but overall a decent value.
