Very Nice Accomodations

We stayed at this hotel 2 days before our cruise and the 2 days following our cruise. It was located away from the tourist areas but not too far away, all within a 5-10 min. drive. They also have a wonderful shuttle in the event you don't want to drive and pay for parking in the tourist locations.

nice hotel

I thought the hotel was clean, except the carpet in our room was very stained. Also the pillows were all too soft, and would be nice if you could have a choice. The cleaning ladies service was exceptional. The desk personal were helpful and friendly. Although it was a bit noisy being close to the hospital I would consider staying there again. Their van service was another plus. Also the continental breakfast was good.

Use to stay in big names hotels, this one I loved it

I found in this website good comments about this hotel and I choose it.Almost all can I say is good. Service at the front desk, housekeepers and drivers excellent. Complimentary shuttle in to downtown every 30 minutes and out 10 minutes after you call to hotel to pick up. Complimentary wi fi and computer with printer at business center.My only complaint is about breakfast it doesn't have a wide variety to choose.

Well worth it

My family of ten had four rooms all with lovely views of the college grounds across the street. The hardest part was figuring our way around and maneuvering through the postage stamp-sized driveway in front of the hotel. Wonderful hot breakfast buffet included in the price and we were within walking distance of other restaurants/food, if interested. We would definitely stay here again when next in Seattle.

Needs Improvement and not the best neighborhood

Family trip. First time to Seattle. Good price for the hotel but was afraid to walk my family around the block to the ihop. There was a fire alarm our first night there so I had to carry my toddler down 6 flights of stairs only to sit outside in the heat. Turns out someone burnt food at the adjoining restuarant. On the plus side they had a free shuttle to 4 drop off points down town (this hotel is some distance from downtown not walkable with small children). Another plus was the free breakfast (it was very good)

Fullfilled and surpassed my expectations

I took my time searching for hotels at hotels.com because I had little time and little money to spend in my trip to Seattle. I was traveling with my mom and taking a cruise ship from Seattle to Alaska and have never been in Seattle. As an experienced traveler I was looking for a clean bed,downtown with shuttle and breakfast inclued at a low price. This was exactly what the hotel offered, and all the comment of previous guest helped me decide on this hotel. It just surpassed my expectations. The room was fresh and clean, beds where sooo confortable, breakfast was great(even a waffle iron) and the shuttle service to specific spots was super convenient. We stayed one night before and after the cruise ship and the cab to Pier 91 was only $14. They even had free internet in rooms and a business center at the lobby. Check in was a breeze, they have huge bowls of candy and fuit to welcome you, and a huge spaceous lobby to hang around. The hotel restaurant Cayanne (Mexican Flair) was great! The best fries ever! I specially enjoyed the staff at the hotel. They were verry knowleagble of sites to visit and had a map for me to follow, they where great and friedly! We would be coming back in my next visit to Seattle. ( There are restaurants aroud the block, since it's an university area- loved the greek restaurant down the street)

Great Staff and Services

We had a great stay at the hotel. Rooms were bright and cheery, business yet comfy. The pool was a must as we have a five and seven year old, they enjoyed the pool and hot tub, both open til 10pm. Continental breakfast ends at 9:30am on weekdays, standard fruit, muffin, cereal, the waffle maker is a nice touch. The attached restaurant is handy for lunch/dinner. Parking is extra $ not included in room fees, however for us we never needed to take the car out as we used the hotels complimentary shuttle to take us where we needed to go saving a bunch in downtown parking fees. We will stay again.
