good place to stay

Overall it was a good hotel - clean and convienent to the hospitals. A couple of things might have been better - the front desk person at check-in was haughty and not very helpful - but other staff throughout the stay were great. The breakfast was nothing special - but was in an attached restaurant and was very comfortable. The restaurant however was very mediocre - with mediocre service - but there are plenty of other places to eat. The room was very clean - and comfortable - the staff seemed to forget to fully restock items - but took care of when asked.

Nice hotel in a great city

I have stayed at the Silver Cloud several times & always enjoy the hotel. Staff is great, very friendly & always helpful. Good part of the city with lots to do & easy to walk any thing. The only thing I would change is the carpet is looking old. I will stay here again.

Classy hotel

This is a classy hotel and conveniently located for Seattle University parents. There is a shuttle downtown so you do not need to deal with your car.

Two words... hot tub!

I was so pleased with this hotel. I love the Capitol Hill area. It's very artsy-bohemian and 1-1 1/2 miles from Pike Place. The area is fantastic, plently to do in walking distance. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. We got a Jacuzzi room with a king sized bed. So relaxing. The room was very pleasant with pretty views. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were just ok. There was a nice pseudo fireplace/heater with remote control. The included breakfast was continental and passable. They had a waffle maker, but some genius poured syrup on it. Parking and internet were included as well! I would absolutely stay there again.

Great stay for mediacal access

We stayed at this hotel for a Med-Cation. We stayed at the Silver Cloud for a couple of days while I was going to the Swedish Medical Center and then moved to a much more expensive hotel Down-town for the remainder of the trip. We wish we had stayed in the Silver Cloud the entire time. They offer a shuttle that will take you to all the great spots down-town for free. From those locations, most tourist destinations are in easy walking distance. Those drop-offs are also in easy reach of Metro Transit points. The young man and woman that worked the front desk during our stay were very helpful. They went to great lengths to accept shipment and notify me when a replacement credit card arrived. Their shuttle will also take you to the medical center for free even though it is not on the list of drop-offs. Just ask at the desk. The breakfast was great and the restaurant food was much better than what I had expected after reading other reviews on this site.

Good value

This hotel is really good value if you don't mind being out of downtown Seattle
