Not close to the beach

The villa we had was driving distance to the beach rather than walking distance, but the gardens were beautiful

Falsely advertised - don't stay here

This hotel was described as "beach front". We stayed in Unit 50. We could not see the beach from our room, and the beach was not even easy walking distance. We had to drive to the beach each day. The beach by the complex is not that nice - better to drive further south to Wailea or Polo Beach. So if you have to drive to the beach, then why pay for beach front? Good question. Also, sleeping on the floor was softer than the bed - I didn't know they made beds that hard. Room maintenance was poor, and requests for basic repairs went unanswered. When we arrived (9 pm) there was no office for us to check in. It took multiple phone calls to find out the office was located remotely. This combined with the falsely advertised "beach front" made for very poor service and dissatisfaction with the hotel and hotels.com. The gardens and pools were very nice.
