Great place

Beds need better mattresses. Other than that, and a screen on the door to the balcony so it would be able to keep the door open and listen to the ocean at night.

One of the Best Hotels I have Ever Stayed At

This hotel was in great condition. I wasn't too concerned about the parking deck across the road. I was there on Labor Day weekend and I still didn't have any trouble getting across the road. The only problem I had was there was no shower curtain on the shower. The hotel promptly rectified that issue.

The hotel is more of a family resort, but the rooms were neat, clean, spacious, and had all accomodations. The bed was comfortable as well. The only odd happening was the maid stating "housekeeping", using her key to come in and heated her lunch in the microwave and left. The parking garage is across and down the street just a small walk however they offer 24 hr valet for a small fee. Overall I would recommend it to any family, but not a party destination....

Great Hotel, Bed In Master Bedroom was a bit uncomfortable

Overall, we had a great experience at the Dunes Hotel. My only complaint is that the bed in the master was uncomfortable. Other than that, the hotel was accessible to the beach, excellent view and very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and stay again.

Be Wary of Maintenance

Although the resort is in a great location and has an expansive water park, we were unable to enjoy it. When we attempted to check in, we were told that no rooms were available due to "unexpected maintenance" that had come up. The manager said that our reservation had been transfered to another location. Dunes Village made no other offers or apologies other than sending us to the other location. We were not the only group that this happened to. Be wary.

Exceeded expectations

Great hotel for a girls night out. We had the 3 bedroom and condo and it was wonderful!!

The suites are FABULOUS and the view was beautiful. It was a SHAME we could not stay longer to enjoy the indoor water parks

WOW...Awesome Hotel...

We had a great time. Very comfortable bed. The two LCD tvs were a nice surprise.

Comfortable Suite and Fun Pools!

The 2-room suite for myself and about 4 preteens was spacious and nice, with kitchen, washer & dryer, enough beds, TV's, etc. The preteens really enjoyed the pool areas and game room. One of the DVD players in our room did NOT work but there was another so we worked it out. I was disappointed that there was no TV guide listing either on the TV or in the room; I had to get help from the front desk and the information I received was minimal. The area of the hotel we stayed in was quiet. We even had a "view" of the ocean despite being on the side of the building.
