Trip Type: Family Review 1 of 22smoking floor
Although I have requested a non-smoking room; the receptionist gave us a room in the third floor, which i understand is the smoking floor. That was the impression that I had because the entire floor was smelling like an ashtray. What's more is that, there were at least 20 cigarette burn spots on the bathroom counters. But if you are a smoker, this is your haven. Oh, breakfast was great. I have to give the credit to them.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 22Not as expected
This hotel was not up to the standard of other Micros that I have stayed in. It was showing its age. Dirty worn carpet, room had trash on floor. Bed was broken and worn out. The worse was the adult bar across street. On Saturday night could not sleep for all the noise and alarms going on outside our window. Patrons from the bar were parking in the hotel parking lot and partying too. They were setting off car alarms, fighting, etc. Call front desk about this, which they did not seem alarmed at all, so guess this is a regular happening. Without this problem and with some cleaning and sprucing up, wouldn't be a bad place at all. Very convenient location. Too bad about the other.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 22Great room for the money
Me, my husband, and son stayed in one of the queen suites at the Microtel Inn & Suites Buckhead for 6 nights. The staff was very friendly. We had no problems with housekeeping. Previous comments mentioned only one exit. There were acutally two exits available but only one was being utilized. They have stairs but apparently no one uses them. The elvator was very small with little circulation. The hotel reaped on cigarette smoke even in our non-smoking room. We had no problems with the nearby clubs or the Pink Pony (adult entertainment). The parking lot for the hotel was pretty small but we managed to get a park every night. There was no loud music. The hotel was right next to the interstate which was very convinent. Although this particular area had almost everything posted "in spanish" and people constantly walked the street we did not feel unsafe. The people were quite friendly. I would stay there again.

This hotel appeared to be new and was very clean. The staff was very nice. Close to Coke plant and Aquarium. I would reccommend to anyone. Price was good. Christine

The hotel could benefit from really steam cleaning the carpets. Other than that the hotel was clean. My biggest complaint was that the hotel is directly across from a notorious strip club and another club beside it.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 22Adequate room
The beds were great- no heavy bedspread and good beds. The breakfast was fine and the internet access good. The paint peeling in the bathroom was not good nor the shower head that sprayed sideways and the shower curtain that kept sliding down to the middle of the rail. The location was below average but convenient to main thoroughfares.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 22Great Room
Everything was fine, we were running behind schedule called the hotel, they held my room. When we got there I was happy they did, b/c they were almost booked out. When we got in our room, the light in the bathroom was out and they were soo nice and kind they simply moved us into another room. Everything was nice. Location was ok but there was the pink pony accross the street but it wasn't loud like most ppl have said and their customers parked in the parkng lot of the hotel so by the time the club opened if your car wasn't parked then oh well.... worth the money though

I didn't like the fact that it was a family vacation and across the street was a titty bar.

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 22Fine Room for the Money
This was one of the cheapest rooms that came up on our search, but we wanted to save some money, so we took it. It was perfectly adequate for our purposes, which was essentially to sleep. We were busy out sight seeing, so it would have been a waste to spend more money on the hotel. While it is true that the neighborhood was not great, we felt the hotel was perfectly safe. We would stay again for the price.

Simple, no frills. Good comfortable beds. Good A/C. Adequate breakfast. Friendly, courteous staff. Rough neighborhood, but the hotel is safe.
