First, I must say that there is nothing wrong with the functionality or cleanliness of the room, and the level of service was acceptable. However, this hotel certainly did not meet my expectations of the 4 star rating. The room itself was an average room that you find in most mid-range hotels around the country. Thus, I would definitely have to say that it is overpriced.

Stayed here last week while attending the Philly Pops concert. Hotel was not cleaned at all. Gum stains right in front of our door. Carpets in lobby and hall not vacuumed. Had what was supposed to be a non-smoking room, smelled smoke as soon as we entered our room. For what was paid for this room expected better.

Parking was the biggest drawback to this hotel. It is $40 a day and only valet. They don't seem to be upfront about this on the website because I didn't realize it until we arrived to check in. We stayed three nights, and by the time we paid for parking, it was the equivilant of staying a fouth. This is the only reason I would not stay again and would not recommend this hotel to friends. If you don't have a car, it's a beautiful hotel that is located in a great part of the city near a lot of public transportation. Staff was nice and they were accomadating to my dog.

Professional staff throughout entire hotel. Truly caring and friendly people who make your stay in Philadelphia very pleasant. Bed was so comfortable and the chaise lounge was great to relax on. You will not find a finer hotel or group of employees in all of Philly!

For the price, this hotel is a good place to stay. My only complaint would be that the hotel itself is just too "busy". The bar also has no atmosphere, other than that the room was clean and the hotel was in a good location.

Outstanding room view and staff. Our first room was near an elevator and overlooked a courtyard into an office building. We asked to be moved. The staff had us in a new room in 15 minutes. It was a queen our first was a king. The queen was really nice plenty big with large bathroom great sheet and an incredible view looking out towards Redding Terminal Market.
