Airotel Parthenon

Comfortable hotel and a PERFECT location

within 10 a minute walk to the Akropolis ... and 5 minutes to the Temple of Zeus. You can't ask for a better location. Hotel is clean and comfortable too.

Great Location

The hotel is in a great location in the Plaka district, close to lots of stuff. The hotel itself was clean, but the rooms are a little basic. I think calling it a four star hotel might be a bit of a stretch. We also stayed at the Amalia Hotel (nearby, also four stars), but it the rooms were much nicer there.

Good Hotel

Austere lobby and rooms, but clean and more than adequate. Can't beat location. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is good. Unless you're looking for luxuries and oversized room, this is a good choice.

Perfect Location and Hotel

The best choice for our stay in Athens. Very close to attractions and activities. Staff attentive.

Great location, good breakfast, not so great room (small, cramped, not overly clean, old, not a lot of water pressure).

Great Experience

After many travels abroad, my daughter and I felt this hotel was excellent. The staff was exceptional in answering questions in a friendly manner. The location is tops--you can walk to almost any important site or use the metro just a block away. We walked to the Parthenon, Syntagma Square, etc. The breakfast buffet has a great choice. The bar also has a sandwich menu. For our early AM departure, the desk arranged for a taxi and offered an early breakfast.

Great Location/Comfortable

This was a good 3 * hotel in a good location - easy to walk to Acropolis and nearby restaurants. Rooms were adequate size and comfort. Breakfast was pretty good - included hot food. Only issue was the variation in hot water while showering - hot to cold and back every few seconds. Front desk employees were polite and helpful.

Excellent location!

We only stayed one day/night in Athens but the location made our visit extremely efficient. Once we checked in the hotel staff pulled out a map and drew us a plan of the city and how to get the most out of it in the day we had. The hotel in in a safe location in the Plaka area, a quick walk from the bus stop, we dropped off our bags and walked 5 minutes to the Temple of Zeus then back to the Acropolis, that is only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. The area is surrounded by convenient souvenir shops and cute restaurants. We left at 4am for our flight and they happily had breakfast ready and a taxi waiting outside that cost about $40 euro to take us to the airport. Great hotel! Great price and location. Not the comfiest beds but I slept well enough. Highly recommended.

Needs to get a shuttle service to and from the hotel. Other than that, it was a very good experience. Great staff.
