Outstanding service, great central location, good value.

Great experience

I booked this hotel for the location and because it got good reviews and I was pleasantly surprised as it exceeded my expectations. We were only there for one night but the location was wonderful just a couple of blocks to the Acropolis, Temple of Zeus and even Hard Rock Cafe! The staff was wonderful and even had food and coffee when we had to leave at %:30 am to catch our plane. A wonderful experience would highly recommend.

Excellent Hotel

From this hotel, you can walk to the New Parthenon Museum and the entrance to the Acropolis in 5 minutes. The surrounding neighborhood has many tavernas and shops - in summer it is very festive. The Metro and bus stops are convenient to the hotel. The hotel staff are very helpful and efficient. The rooms are furnished sparely but are quite large and have everything you need to be comfortable. Best thing is the free wireless high speed internet. The breakfast is ample.

Very good hotel for the money

Great location. Rooms were neat and bathrooms very clean. Breakfast service was also very good. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Total Satisfaction

From the greeting and assistance on the first step into the hotel to the final assistance with bags as we left the hotel in a taxi, service was exceptional. By European standards, our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The provided breakfast was bountiful and delicious. And the location could not have been better for anyone wishing to explore on foot--just about half a block to the entrance to the Plaka and view of the Acropolis. Being outside the Plaka made for a quiet evening of rest which we needed after our long flight from the states. Service personnel all spoke English and were very helpful with directions, answering questions, and anticipating our needs.

Convenient to historic sights

The hotel was great for a 2 day stay to get a quick look at the tremendous historic sights in the area. It was very convenient to all the major sights, within easy walking distance. The neighborhood is old, but not seedy or problematic. Sidewalk cafes are only a block away. All the staff were very helpful and communicate in English very well. The morning breakfast (included) was a very good buffet.

Airotel Parthenon

This was the second hotel we stayed at in Athens and all I can say is that I wish it had been the only hotel we had stayed at in Athens. It was quite, clean and had an excellent location; literally within a 3 minute walk to the acroplis or plaka. The hotel provided superior customer service and the accomodations were outstanding, especilaly when compared with similar hotels in Europe. I would enthusiastically reccommend this hotel to anyone and would go back in a heart-beat! 100% enjoyable experience in every way.

Great Location in the Plaka District, good restaurants and shopping around, mattresses and pillows are very hard

Excellent location

My wife and I enjoyed our stay very much and were very surprised how conveniently the location of the hotel. It really was walking distance to local sites and subway station. I highly recommend this Hotel and would stay here again.

Excellent location

100M to the Akropoli metro station, 200M to the acropolis. Don't take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, use the metro. Rooms are rather small, airconditioning is good even in July, beds are rather hard. Breakfast was above average. Rather on the low side of 4 stars, but a good value. Hotel is on a quiet side street, not too pretty on the outside, but nice on the inside. Plenty of restuarants nearby. On the edge of Plaka. Excellent helpful staff were a big plus.
