Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 37Great Location! Acceptable Ammenities!
This hotel is in a great location and it is very easy to get to the T and around town from here. Moreover, it is only a few blocks from the Prudential Plaza with great shopping and dinning. The staff is very friendly and try to be as helpful as possible. There is nothing super "cushy" about the hotel or the rooms but they are great for a budget stay. Everything is clean and neat. Only complaints included a shower head that was too low to easily stand under and the front desk lacked "forgotten essentials" such as contact solution or cough drops, even though they had the sign suggesting they had it. I would definitely recommend this as place to stay for eager travelers or tourists.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 37Nice hotel
Pretty cheap for Boston. I was in town for a Red Sox game and it's located very close to Fenway Park, 20 min walk or so. Plenty of late night dining options on the walk back from game as well.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 37Great Location
The hotel was smaller and older than I had expected, but it was clean and comfortable. The location was right off of the subway and the people at the front desk were very helpful.

If you are looking to spend as little time in your room as possible, but would like to get anywhere in the city by mass transit than this hotel is ok.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 37Terrible
Reserved King Room. Got Double Beds. Switched us to King Room however the room smelled like vomit. House keeping was useless and the front desk was rude and condescending! Experience not worth the savings. Would spend a little more for less than this hotel had to offer!

Had made two reservations and canceled one. When I checked in the clerk (Lulu) said that I had not canceled and would have to pay for both--in a very unhelpful manner. I had to pay to use the lobby computer to find the cancellation code ($4) and then she said that she did not recognize the code! But, she had no choice after I produced the code. First room given smelled like a swimming pool. Second room was satisfactory but roll-out window was open and mechanism broken but I was able to close and lock it.
