"GREAT STAY"

VERY CONVENANT LOCATION FROM THE BEACH AND OTHER LOCATIONS. NICE CLEAN ROOM WITH COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST IN THE LOBBY. MIDTOWN INN IS NOT LIKE THOSE OTHER DIRTY AND NASTY HOTELS ALONG BISCAYNE BLVD. THIS WAS MY SECOND STAY THERE AND PLAN TO STAY AGAIN. RECOMMENDED TO OTHERS.

midtown inn

nice hotel. it was my second time staying there. its not like the other ones that wont let you see there nasty dirty hotels before you pay. would stay again and recommend to others.

Good value for the money

courteous staff, clean room, close to the beach and other happening places, eating places nearby. price slightly high due to booking cost. paid a half of the room cost as booking cost

Needs Improvement

Ironing board broken in room. Also, staff didn't have breakfast posted at appropriate time. I went downstairs expecting to eat and was left with nothing but luke-warm coffee.

Pay a few dollars more, and look at another hotel

This hotel had the absolute bare essentials - but I would suggest paying a few dollars more (generally not much more) and going to another hotel. Our room smelled like smoke and febreze even tho we had requested a non-smoking room - the pillows were flat as a pancake, the nob to control the shower temperature didn't work, and there were people in who had put lawn chairs outside our door, smoking cigarettes and drinking beers.

Don't listen to the other reviews.

For all the bad reviews complaining of security and inadequate service, I didn't experience any of that. The staff was friendly, the part of town wasn't that bad, the room was acceptable. Other than not having shampoo available, I have no major complaints about the Midtown Inn. Great value with acceptable accommodations for downtown Miami.
