Cheapest place in town -- and it shows

The MTH's only redeeming quality is its price. The hotel is run down, dirty and in a terrible neighborhood. Be prepared to be awoken at night by the tenants, airport noise and emergency vehicles. I stayed for over a week and when my employer found out where I was staying, paid for me to stay somewhere else. If you do decide to stay here, upgrade your rental car insurance. I couldn't sleep most night worrying about someone breaking into my car.

Good room for the money

We only stayed at the hotel for 4 days. The room was clean and I enjoyed the staff service at the hotel. They where friendly and took care of our needs. If you looking for room with a fridge and Microwave this hotel has them. However, there was no radio or phone in the room. But the lobby is open all night and there is a Denny's in walking distance.

Needs Improvement

The location was excellent. Close to everything. The facilities need major improvements. A light pole was down as if a truck ran into it, not sure when that happened, but it was not blocked off very well. Small parking lot hard to maneuver. Rooms were old and needed new carpeting and better lighting. Pool did not look like you should get in and I did not see anyone in it. It is also noisy early because of the high traffic in the area and the bus starts running around 6 am! The so called breakfast were packaged muffins, cofee, and tea. Oh and they had some cookies to snack on. The price was very good and I was not vacationing so it worked for me but if I was on a vacation I would definitely not stay here because I could not relax.

The staff was great but the hotel itself was not what we expected. It was in a bad location and not very clean.

Good location & wifi internet - not much else

The fast, free internet was nice. Also, the location was great in terms of proximity to miami beach, airport, freeways. The quality of the hotel itself was way below what would be expected for the price. Rooms old and marginally clean. No iron/ironing board. Only good for a one night stay and if location is important. The thing is there may not be another reasonably priced hotel/motel in the area, so this may be your best bet still.

Worst Hotel Ever

I'm not going to go on and on about how bad this hotel was. Let me just say it was. I was awoken throughout the night by people partying in other rooms and at 5am by a woman screaming and pounding on the door next to me. She screamed for 30-45 minutes before finally leaving. I will simply say that if you go to this hotel you will not feel safe at all, even if nothing had happened, I would not have felt safe. It's in a bad section of the neighborhood and there is no security at all. Trust me, spend the extra money. Go somewhere else, this is a nightmare.

needs improvement

Many little items were lacking. No remote for TV, when I asked for one it came but did not work. No shampoo. No coffee in room. Old carpeting and towels. Drunks outside my room both nights.

Great room for the money

Bargain rate for Miami. Good for businessmen for short stays, especially if they're fluent in Spanish...helpful for dealing with maintenance and custodial staff.
