Some mistakes for a perfectly located hotel

Great location, nice and clean room but for the price small mistakes like billing error (charged for parking when didn't even have a car), not providing a new room service breakfast menu after using one, not having free amenities as indicated in hotel brochure (toothpaste, toothbrush) detract from a a full 5 star experience. It's still recommendable but I would also look at other hotels in the same price range for fun.

Very friendly staff and very helpful. No matter what time of day or night everyone had a smile for you and a pleasant word.

Very comfortable accommodation

Very quiet hotel - remarkable given the central downtown location. Extremely helpful staff. The room was a good size and well appointed - but no coffee machine !

Good Value

The hotel has a convenient downtown location a short distance from the Union Square Shopping district and convention center. Mass transit is easy to access from the hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. What the hotel lacks is a large welcoming lobby with furniture. The room was clean and comfortable. The complimentary wine happy hour and ice cream in the afternoon was a nice bonus. The hotel was a good value in an expensive city.

Outstanding Hotel

A true luxury hotel in every way. Location is great for touring the San Francisco area. The hotel staff was exceptionally helpful and always very upbeat!

Large and quiet room

Great value. Hotel staff were pleasant and the room was very nice with a real comfy bed and linens. Also was quiet. Parking is expensive though.

Great weekend getaway!

Wonderful location close to Union Squar, great restaurants and shopping (Bloomingdale's just steps away). The staff went out of their way to accomodate me and my grandson, age 22 months, while his parents attended a wedding nearby. He truly loved the complimentary goldfish "Pablo Picasso" in our room.

Great Room / Hospitality / Location / Value!!!

The location was excellent for Union Square / Moscone Center / SF MOMA / Yerba Buena Gardens. The room was very nice as were the amenities. All the staff was friendly and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this hotel to my friends.

Hotel Palomar/ SF

This well located boutique hotel has all the amenities one could ask for, including a wine reception. The room was well decorated, clean and comfortable with hair dryers, iron, even a flash light. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The office space was a bit lacking in office equipment: my husband wanted to send a fax and print from his computer and couldn't. Other than that, we loved our experience and will definitely rebook.
