Maui Coast Hotel is the best!!!!

OUTSTANDING, newly renovated,beach right across the street.Music during happy hour at the pool great way to relax,without having to drink! the bed was to die for,I felt like I went to Heaven these ole bones did not hurt!!!! Kihei is a Fab town,the locals made you feel welcome and not like a tourist.The resturant wasn't great but there are plenty of eateries around with many choices of foods.

This is days inn not a hotel. They only have outdoor swimming pool with bar. no beach,ugly pictures on the building, blurry TV ( I can't watch most of channel) They said 80+ recommendation, but not true.

needs improvement

Front desk staff rude, and inconsiderate. Made me feel unwelcome. everything else was very nice.

Great hotel and staff

In our recent trip to Maui we booked 2 nights at Maui coast. We had planed on camping our first 5 nights on the island. After 4 nights we had enough and wanted some comfort. I called the hotel staff and they got us a room right away. They even made sure that we wouldn't have to change rooms the next day for our reservation we already had. The staff was more than helpful and we give the hotel an A+ in every way possible.

Great way to be pampered!

Beautiful hotel from the lobby to the pool. Great staff of grounds keepers and workers were extremely friendly and thorough. We took a shuttle from the airport and were able to walk to the beach across the street every day, and near-by shops, and but spent most of our time relaxing by the beautiful pool. Live Hawaiian music by the pool-side bar every night for listening, not dancing. We ate meals at local restaurants rather than in the hotel. Definitely will plan to go again.

The room was very clean, beds were very comfortable. The pool area clean and nice, we only stayed one night but were very impressed with the room and service.

Great room for the money

Initial room I received was horrible with the carpet still wet and dampness in the whole room. Hotel staff was prompt enough to shift to another room. Overall, it was a nice experience, with game controller in room to keep you busy.

Middle of the Road

The hotel was a fill in after a long flight before we checked in to our other hotel for the week. It is nothing spectacular, but it wasn't bad either.

I would reccommend in a New York MInute

It is near everything... very accomodating hotel staff and great room for the price that you pay in Hawaii...

Hawaiian style, Beautiful grounds, colorful.

Kingsize bed, too firm, no padding. Room had a nice balcony. Wall air conditioner was noisy, and fan never turned off when the room got cool. We had to manually turn it on and off as needed. Free laptops with email in the lobby. Wi-fi in the room for a daily fee. Nice pool with a bar nearby and nightly singers. Hotel restaurant had great food. Small 19" TV was hard to see.

Affordable hotel steps from the beach

Reasonably priced with great beach across the road. Don't bother with the restaurant. There are better options in the area.
