Hacienda Hotel

Very convenient to LAX with shuttle available every 15 minutes. Car rental on site. Restaurant and bar open late hours.

works for a quick overnight near LAX

If you like a free shuttle to and from LAX, free Wifi, and a swimming pool this place works fine. Not the most luxurious or most well maintained hotel in the world, but it was clean enough and I would stay there again if there was a need. The staff was friendly and moved me when I realized I paid for a pool or courtyard view room and did not have either upon entering the room. The elevator and floor levels are confusing. Beds and pillows are just ok.

Great Hotel loved the Spanish flair

I normally don't write reviews for Hotels because they are pretty much all the same, but the Hacienda was a pleasant surprise. The hotel was clean and had a great restaurant/bar the food is very good, fresh and very reasonably priced (cheap). The courtyard is adorable with its fountain and fireplace. The Hotel is minutes from Redondo Beach and Peer and there is a Starbucks and a Sizzlers right across the street. Considering the services provided for the rate it was outstanding I definitely will stay at the Hacienda again. The parking wasn't great but the attendant was always very helpful to find a parking space.

Needs Improvement

The room did not have its own thermostat so I could not regulate the temperature in the room. Also, the room was very small and the customer service was not up to par. When we called about the temperature issue, and the agent basically said this is how it is and if we had any major complaints or issues, we need to contact hotels.com. No arrangements to be moved to a room on a 'cooler' floor were offered. The only good thing about the hotel was the location from the airport. If you require aesthetics over comfort and amenities then this is the place for you.

Good Value and Location

We have travelled all over the world and have stayed at numerous hotels. This hotel is an average hotel with an affordable price. When you factor in the cost of car rental, vacation activities and food the last thing you need is to splurge on your room. We only sleep in the room we don't spend a lot of time in it.
