Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 27Hotel good for money...
The hotel was in a very good location. 8 miles from Venice beach which is where we stayed. When we got to the hotel we had to circle for parking because they do not have valet. They have two parking areas but it is 5 dollars a night for parking. The parking areas were on the side of the hotel which was the easiest, and they other parking space was all the way around the building. The bell man took our things up to the room. It is a pretty long walk to the room, about a block. The whole hotel is seperated into seperate parts. When we got in the hotel in seemed pretty nice. We loved that the windows opened and the breeze was able to flow through the room. The air conditing is weak we it was extremely hot in our room, we had to leave the window open all night so we were somewhat comfortable. The floor was kinda dirty and seemed sticky like there was a lot spilled on the floor and needed to be steam cleaned. They do not provide you with much soap or shampoos, but we brought our own so it wasn't much of a problem. We rented a movie and and the picture on the tv was perfect, but when we rented the movie it was very fuzzy. We had to call the from desk about 5 times to try to fix it before they just took it off our bill and we were still able to watch the movie. It is the perfect location for going to the beach. It has many food places and gas station within walking distance. The beach was very easy to find. When we left the bell man does not come get your things, so you have to go down stairs get a cart and grab your things. There is no bell man after 10 pm so you can't get a cart coming in or when leaving. But overall it was a great hotel for the price.

Trip Type: Romance Review 3 of 27Not bad at all
The hotel was odd, but my friend and I liked it. Our main complaint was that the bed was not very comfortable. Not comfortable at all. The parking was not convenient, but not horrible. The hotel is very spread out. It looks like three or four hotels pulled together. The patio areas were amazing! Very nice. There was stuff nearby like a Chase branch, Ralphs grocery store, gas stations and LAX of course.

Trip Type: Romance Review 5 of 27needs improvement
advertized as a 4 star hotel this facility fell short of the mark. the sink drained slow, the coffie maker didn't work and the parking was inconvienent. the property was older than expected and check in was slow. this is a 2.5 star hotel at best.

Trip Type: Romance Review 10 of 27Great room for the money.
I was going to be mislead by reading other reviews. This was an old school hotel with very clean rooms. Restuarants on the property added to convenience because hotel is located in a busy surrounding area. There was a $5.00 parking fee, but it is in and out. You have to walk a short distance. Overall, my husband and I had a great stay for Valentines Day.

Trip Type: Romance Review 11 of 27Beautiful Hotel
The hotel was beautiful and well maintained. The room was very clean and comfortable . When i had a problem with my air conditioner the hotel staff moved me to a different room .I packed my things and the staff member was already at the door to give me a key to my new room . The staff were very friendly and helpful .When i was ready to go to the airport i didnt even have to wait they had a shuttle there to take me .I would stay there again and i will recommend anyone going to L.A. to stay at the Hacienda.

Trip Type: Romance Review 13 of 27Good hotel for a reasonable price
We stayed at this hotel for 4 days. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The price was quite reasonable, and the hotel was located in a safe neighborhood in LA very close to the airport. The 24hr restaurant - Mariposas, in the hotel was very convenient too. The front-desk staff could have been more courteous though. But that didn't bother us much since we only interacted with them twice (at check-in and check-out time). So, overall, this was a good comfortable hotel for a reasonable price.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 27Disappointing
We were expecting a pool or courtyard view. We got a dumpster view. We were expecting a king-sized bed and got a double. After a day of delayed flights and traveling hassles, the Hacienda was an additional disappointment. Surly service and a run-down hotel. Don't bother.
