We checked in at midnight after a 6 hr drive and being exhausted. We got to our room unpacked and it appeared that the sheets had not been changed from the previous user and there was hair all over the bed and in the bathroom. You would expect that by midnight room service would have been performed. We weren't very happy having to pack again and wait to have move rooms. We got no apology or comps. A bit disappointed.

Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 165Lousy, lousy, lousy
Rooms were old and dingy. No fridge or microwave. Noisy. Service was aweful. Check in line was super long and no extra help to speed it up, parking wasn't close or convenient. And worst of all, I had a bit of dinner I wanted to warm up the next morning - no possibility of that. No microwave anywhere in hotel except in diner downstairs but diner staff was rude and wouldn't even consider the idea of warming up for me because that wouldn't make them any money. When you are passing by this dump, keep driving and save yourself the aggravation.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 165Decent value for 1 night stay
The location is very good (10 minutes from the LAX terminals. If you have a car, you might need to pay 5 dollars/night for parking. There is no complimentary breakfast as other hotels offer. But there are enough options, there is a Starbucks across the street, an IHOP a couple of blocks away, and many other places to eat in the area. The reception area is always very crowded, but the receptionists will assist you in a timely manner. The swimming pool is quite far if you stay in the north tower. The courtyard is nice and quiet, although it can be crowded in the evening. They offer free wireless internet, and HBO. The rooms are clean and well maintained. There is not much street noise, and the area seems to be safe. Overall Hacienda is a pretty nice hotel.

Trip Type: Business Review 7 of 165COMPLETELY DISSATISFIED WITH ACCOMODATIONS
I have been to this hotel about 7 times and been here through all times of the year. The one and only thing I am dissatisfied is that when am here, they never ever have AC or heater. The previous time I was here, it was during the summer and I asked them if they could turn the AC on, they said that the maintenance would not do it because not enough people have requested it. Then, I was there in October and I arrived when it was very cold. I walked into a room that was freezing. I asked for a room on the first floor closest to the pool and jacuzzi. They gave me a room that was right next to a driveway and a huge truck kept coming in and out picking up linen. The guy saw me when I opened the window wondering what these loud noises where only feet from my door, the guy got out of the truck and talked to the security guy, both looked at me and laughed. I called the front desk and they said they would leave in 10 minutes. I then was still very cold and called them to see if they could turn the heater on. They told me last time I was here that the heater would be on during the fall and winter. Again, they told me that not enough people have requested it. I had 6 blankets ordered to the room. LA City Tours has a driver I know whom checks a room there and I met him the next day. When he arrived, he said his room was extremely cold. I vowed never, ever to stay at this hotel. The only reason this hotel is famous is because it's well advertised for Europeans. Every time I'm there, there are tons of Europeans, French, Germans, getting drunk in the outside area at night. These people make enough money to cover an AC and heater and I use to stay here only out of convenience to the 405 and area. However, I'd rather go to a motel 6 and they at least have a great flow of AC and heat! I'ts not worth staying here anymore.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 165Great room for money, and close to LAX
Stayed here for 3 days and found it to exceed our expectations. The room was clean and of sufficient size. We got a great deal through Hotels.com, but probably worth the full price, given the expensive nature of L.A. The location is not that central, but close enough to everything and literally at LAX. The only critique is that they will ask for parking at the front desk for a fee. The parking lot fills completely up and I found there to be sufficient street parking, so don't waste your money!

Trip Type: Business Review 10 of 165Decent value for the cost
This hotel could definitely use a remodel/update. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating though!! I arrived quite late (after midnight) and asked for a room in a quiet area of the hotel. The woman at the front desk took her time and really found the quietest room she could. The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but definitely sleepable. The towels are small, old and scratchy - but you get what you pay for. I didn't use the LAX shuttle, but noticed it coming and going quite often if that's something you need. Parking was also extra, but only $5/night. I would stay there again if needed.

Well maintained rooms and surroundings. Nice neighborhood - you feel safe and have a lot of fast food joints nearby. A short drive from the beach. I would have loved this hotel if - - The lady at the check-in counter wasn't so curt. (Others seemed nice, this one probably was in a foul mood!) - The pool area wasn't so dirty.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 165FIRST FLOOR ROOMS - SOUTH TOWER
I stay at this hotel, and this my 2nd review. I'm a little upset at the way this hotel has known me visiting frequently on business and was very shocked to see them give me a room on the first floor, had a refrigerator, a couch, a robe, a better bathroom, and every other room I had been given where nothing like this one. I woke up at 8am to have easy walking from the two big doors that opened to see the pool and jacuzzie. Also, exiting to the main street was extremely convenient without having to walk all the way around or take an elevator. The only thing I really disliked and was very irritated was when I heard workers starting to trim trees at 7am, this is the only reason I woke up early. I really did not care for this and was only held back by my partner who calmed me down from telling them to go cut another tree and not right smack in front of my window doors. When I put on my bikini to go into the jacuzzie and pool, I opened the big glass doors and there was 4 Latino workers only 2-3 feet from the window doors. 7a.m.? Come on!

Trip Type: Business Review 14 of 165NO HEATER
I have stayed numerous times here. I was told there is no heater in any rooms after I came back from the jacuzzi. The room was freezing and turn the heater on. I called from desk and they said its either the whole hotel has heat or the AC and that it took a whole day to convert it to heat from cold. Go figure that one out! So, I had to get into the bed, called for a ton of blankets, and then kind of warmed up. No, this was not during the winter, it was summer. No bottles of beer allowed in the pool but, we hid them in a bucket, we had a long day of LA BS traffic, we wanted a beer in the pool and relax. The room sizes can vary and they are the same price, I usually get the Queen size bed non-smoking and was given the West tower. The hallway was a bit dark but, for a frisky couple like us, it was nice. The South Tower is more brighter and closer to the pool. At night, we sat out in the courtyard with a bunch of drunk Germans being very noisy. We stayed outside till 2:30a.m. drinking champagne and tequila then went back to out room. Free WiFi. Parking is 5 bucks but, you can find very safe street parking if you dont' want to pay. Walking distance from the street parking is only a few feet from the main parking, no big deal.
