Needs Inprovement

They really needed a new shower head. It just shot out a steady stream. The toilet was loose. The pillows were too hard. It was a good location though. The room was a very nice size and clean. They just need to do some maintenance.

Good value for the Money

It was a hotel by the airport so expect planes and fright truck noise. But the room was nice. The kitchen has no plates or pans, but the desk was accommodating in providing needed items. One needs a car or transportation to get around since the hotel is closer to the airport than anything else. Highways are easily accessible. I didn't use the pool or jacuzzi; they seemed clean and well-maintained. Internet connection was mostly reliable. The hot breakfast was good.

Good value

A hotel by the airport. Plane and truck noise to be expected. Far from the maddening crowds - expected. The hotel itself was nice. Hot breakfast was good. Desk staff courteous. No complaints about any of it.

Good For the Money

The room was larger than we expected and did have a living room area that was seperated from the bedroom by the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. There are some drawbacks to this hotel. It backs up to the FedEx terminal at DFW, it is difficult to find if you are not familiar with the area, and if no one is at the front desk when you get there be prepared to wait.

Nice Stay

The hotel was nice and clean. It was a great deal for the price. The only thing that I noticed was at other Hawthorn Suites the hot breakfast changed a little bit each day. Here it was the same thing every morning. When you stay for several nights it gets boring after the second day.

Great Hotel, but not too many things to do if you don't have a car. Miles from anywhere. Good place to stay overnight to catch a flight.

Very Nice Stay

Was very pleased with the hotel. The price was great and the wireless internet was fast. Very nice experience.

Great value for the airline traveler.

Good rooms, easy to find, great service. The plan was to park at DFW for $14/day and fly out on vacation. After speaking with Ross at front desk he suggested leaving vehicle at hotel for $5/day and using free shuttle to drop and pick you up at terminal. Great idea, and great value. Saved us time and worry. Thanks, Ross!

Very good hotel near airport, need transportation to get to food and shopping.

Great price, great room

I stayed only overnight while in town but I was really impressed by this hotel for the price I got on Hotels.com. As many have mentioned, it is right next to the airport but I heard no aircraft noise. The room was very nice, though with an overnight stay I didn't use most of it. (kitchen and sitting area were never even touched) The only two minor problems with my room were the mattress seemed a bit worn and the tv reception was terrible. I would suggest they replace the mattress and think about flat panel tvs with a clear picture. That however, would not keep me from staying here again.
