Hotel from inside/out looks ok, the room and all looked ok, then the bed!!! I think my parents had the same crap bed back in 1978. I would stay in a dump for a week if needed if the bed was comfortable, this place was nice but the bed was just bad even when they have fliers about their new upgrades and pillow top beds...ha. Plus when I checked in, was made to stand there like an idiot as one clerk counted quarters for the drawer and the other was talking on the phone about her work hours. Take a hint, when a guest arrives, stop counting your $3 in quarters and hang up the hang up the frigging phone.

Economical and Convenient

Hotel was very nice and comfortable. The staff was helpful. We had our dogs with us and the hotel graciously accepted dogs. Several of our "neighbors" also had dogs with them, but we did not hear another bark! Our only concern was the direction we got from mapquest was wrong.

Good Value

This is a clean hotel with good service. It's a little older, but the rooms are clean and the bed was comfortable. For anyone who's just looking for a nice place to sleep & not spend much time in the room, this is excellent value for the money.

This is a 4 star hotel...for a 3 star price!!!

This was my second stay there, as I stayed there last year also. It was GREAT then....and it was GREAT this time too. A pleasant, professional staff. Great breakfast (included), and nice mix of quest. I've already recommended it to some of the local businesses that I was working with.

Nice hotel

Room was clean and staff was freindly. Bed was clean and comfortable. Towels were thick and soft. Shower was very nice. The neighborhood was baren. New Britan is one of those cities that the economy has really hit hard. Walked to main street to get dinner because the hotel resurant had closed down. Town was a little scary.

Excellent - No worries reserving online

I had had a couple of less than good experiences reserving online in the Hartford area because of unfamiliarity with the neighborhoods and such. I had worries that this hotel would turn out only a little better, but it was great. Easy to find, good stores and restaurants nearby, and it was next to a major police department installation. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, well appointed, clean, and tidy. The furnishings were very nice, and the beds were comfortable. Wireless internet was easy to use.

Have paid twice as much for same room

Seventy bucks for this room and hotel was great value. Room was better than Hampton. Breakfast not quite as good.

Occupied Room

The features of the hotel is everything they described it to be BUT I had one bad experience after driving 5 hrs in the middle of the night into Ct . The night staff gave me a room that was farthest away from the elevator and was already OCCUPIED! Thankfully when I entered the room, the patron was sleeping and did not notice me so I immediately went downstairs where I had to wait 15 minutes at the front desk before someone can help me.

I was very satisfied with the hotel, it was clean, quiet, and they had a nice complimentary breakfast. Only issue I had was that front desk was clueless on directions and they seemed more interested in their personal calls then taking care of the customer.

Room smelled of puke. Womans undergarment on the floor behind the headboard. Would have preferred a window with option to open than A/C only. No microwave in the entire hotel. No refrigerator available. Closed restaurant on premises - advertisement listing restaurant inaccurate. No frill breakfast. Nightly room price varies with number of hotel occupants.
