Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 18Spacious but no view
Although the king room with fireplace was spacious and comfortable, the windows were tiny and there was no view. Very few rooms have vineyard views. The small patio outside the room was very uninviting. The buffet breakfast offered several choices and was good.

The grounds are beautiful and just what you would expect in Napa. Our room was great (but the bathroom was a little old). The staff was helpful and the breakfast was perfect pre-wine tasting fare.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 5 of 18Service was a bit difficult.
It took a very long time to get checked in for a room and we were being shuffled around about 4 times to please a returning guest. I guess returning guests take precedent over first time guests. It was down right in front of us and was a bit rude. They did provide a bottle of wine and an upgrade to a different room, so they did do there best to accommodate.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 8 of 18Best Choice in the Napa Area
I have stayed at a few hotels in the Napa area and this is by far was the best overall. The property is set-up like a small village on an estate with beautiful gardens and seating areas tucked away under the trees. The front desk staff was very helpful and provided a warm welcome each time we approached to ask a question. The continental breakfast was superb not just bagels and cereal but many options all with a fresh homemade taste. Our room had a king bed which was comfortable but we didn't have a fireplace as some others did. I think the Harvest Inn was also a great value. We had looked at some other "name brand" hotels but the prices were 2x more. This is a very romantic venue that I would recommend to anyone who wants quality and value.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 18Perfect Napa Experience
Stayed at several places over the years there, this is the 2nd trip to Harvest Inn, the grounds are beautiful, you feel as though you are in the country side, even though you are just off Main street in St Helena. Rooms and fireplaces are great, great staff. Really nice place.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 10 of 18Okay hotel interrupted
This is a conveniently located and nice place to stay in St. Helena. The hotel staff was friendly, but knocked on our door really loudly several times, which seemed unnecessary. It was like the needs of the cleaning staff were more important than our needs. At one point, one of them came in and dumped a huge pile of towels on one of the three chairs in the room, while we were still enjoying our morning coffee. Overall though, it's a pleasant, though not noteworthy place.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 18A kozy hotel
Harvest inn was a kozy and luxurious hotel that didn't look like everywhere else. There was a cottage-like feeling to it. The pools and extremely heated bubble bath outside was an amazing way to start the day. The gardens and the paths through the property was a bit like in an adventure. The breakfast buffet was ok, but have potential to be improved. Location is OK. A 15-20 minute walk to the city (if you could call it a city), but just five or so to a good winery that is open a bit later than the rest. We had a really nice stay.

We were there for a romantic get away and it seemed like the staff was knocking at our door far too often.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 13 of 18Not cheap, but a great place to stay
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a long weekend and really enjoyed ourselves. The room was huge with a fireplace and massive king bed. The atmosphere of the room got a little close to the line between "country comfortable" and "country hokey" but it stayed on the comfortable side (but if you like sleek, modern-feeling hotels, this ain't the place for you). The hotel was very quiet and relaxing. The location was excellent - you're in a location that feels very central to all of wine country with downtown St. Helena a stone's throw away, plenty of great wineries all around, and easy access to Calistoga, Yountsville, and beyond. The spa was excellent too -- I think I had my best massage ever there. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay. Now if only we could get the price down more... :)

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 18Nice Hotel but Over Priced for what it is
The hotel had a friendly staff and nice grounds. The hotel wasn't as nice as the picture and the rooms are very dated. The bathroom was great though. They refresh the rooms during the day but they don't pick up the bathroom or add new clean towels. The mini bar was stocked but went to open a beer and someone had filled it with water and replaced it back in the bar. Should have been caught by housekeeping. The location couldnt be better and the town is beautiful. Would love to stay in the town again but most likely would not return to the hotel.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 15 of 18"Absolutely Beautiful"
Our Son was recently married here and what an absolutely wonderful experience it was. The room was more than expected, the grounds beautiful, the staff was more than helpful they were kind, friendly and we had an overall extraordinary experience. We will definitely be returning just for the pampering. Thank You!
