Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 9Central Location
From the lavender-infused scent wafting through the ventilation system in the lobby to the uber cool rootop jacuzzi to the mod, sleek suites, this hotel is a Montreal show-stopper. The staff were gracious and warm and seemed genuinely enthused to be ambassadors for their city. I didn't have the opportunity to test out the Spa, but it looked lovely and on at least one night was open into the late evening hours. Prices for their massage services were reasonable and what I would expect for a large city. Didn't try any of the hotels restaurants, as I grew fond of a French bakery in the neighborhood. We had one of the Urban suites, allegedly the smallest on the property and yet it was remarkably roomy. Two huge thumbs up for the rain shower, fancy schmancy bath products, and double vanity. The Nespresso maker was a nice touch. I also really liked the modern decor, even though my own personal tastes typically gravitate toward cozy, warm styles. Simply put, the decor is cool. Period. The central location of Hotel Le Crystal makes it easy to jet around town, even though there isn't much directly across the street from the hotel--unless you're catching a hockey game at Bell Centre. The location in Centreville is 1.5 blocks from the main Orange line Metro that you will likely to get around town. It's a little further from the Green Line Peel Metro stop, but still convenient for those who don't have physical limitations that would preclude them from walking a few blocks. The Central Train Station (Gare Central) is about 5 blocks away. The shops of St. Catherine (typical chain stores like H&M, Neon, Roots, etc) and the main nightlife district on Crescent were also within walking distance. A new bus line near the Central Train Station (Gare Central) now services Vieux Montreal (the old town). I think the location is about as perfect as one can get, although when you step out of the hotel, you have to walk at least one block or hail a cab on busy Rene Levesque Blvd in order to

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 9Wonderful Hotel
This was a lovely hotel. The room was large and cozy and it had a wonderful sitting area. I loved the expresso machine too. The service was very friendly and professional and we were given some great dinner reccomendations. I would stay here again and would reccomend it to anyone!!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 9Not worth the money
This hotel is billed as "luxury" and it sure isn't. The suite was small, which is okay..but a thousand little touches that could have made it luxury weren't done. The lighting is stylish but very poor and badly placed. The hot tub was not once hot during the entire weekend, despite my complaints. The pool was disgustingly slimey and obviously not kept clean. The staff were pleasant and friendly except for one who spoke in French in the elevator, commenting on me and my friend not being their "typical guests"...we were very casually dressed. Of course, she thought we didn't understand her. Location is good, staff friendly but the rooms are too small and not luxurious enough to warrant the price. You can do better.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 9Couldn't be happier
I was very happy with the hotel. It was very well appointed, centrally located, and perfect for my needs in every way. I had a comfortable sitting area and wet bar. The bedroom seemed a little on the tight side, but wasn't really an issue. The bathroom, on the other hand, was huge. Check out the outside hot tub if you get a chance. There's a nice view of downtown. Only minor issue was a broken TV in the bedroom. I told them about it the morning after I checked in and it was repaired by the time I returned from sightseeing.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 6 of 9Outstanding Hotel
Lovely (if somewhat small) suite. Very tasteful decor. Service was good. Location is good- lively neighborhood with lots of shopping & restaurants, but a mile or so from historical district. Pool & jacuzzi were lovely also, but jacuzzi was not hot enough.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 9In one Word...EXCELLENT
Our stay at Hotel Le Crystal in Montreal was wonderful. Upon arrival, the Bell Boy/Concierge were there to assist us, and were very friendly and polite. The front desk staff was wonderful; we were upgraded to a deluxe room upon arrival, which was nice. The Rooms were beautiful, very clean (as this is a very new hotel) and the size of the room was perfect. Plenty of space...very comfortable! Top Notch! The Concierge (and all the staff) were so helpful through the weekend we were there, always polite, and providing great information about the city. They assisted us with bike rentals, directions, and even provided umbrellas when it was raining. Great Staff - Great Hotel - They pay attention to the small things...and that adds up!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 9awesome!
Stayed for the weekend and was blown away by the service. Anything you needed, they provided AND more. For example, when we found out that the spa would not be open for a few weeks (remember this is a very new hotel!), the concierge asked us what types of treatments we were looking for. The woman looked up every and ANY spa that provided the hot stone massage (which is what we requested). She negated any that didnt provide the service, made a list, and even offered to make the reservation for us. The rooms, the service and the friendliness exceeded our expectations. Everything was personalized: we received a note with the weather report and a newspaper everyday. And we even recieved a typed up list describing the events that we going on during our stay (ie: the hockey games, exhibits, shows, etc). The price for the hotel was amazing. We were guessing that the prices were lower simply because it was a new hotel and needed advertisement/marketing. So, if you are heading up there, snatch up a room before the prices skyrocket!!

We enjoyed our room's spaciousness and cleanliness. the staff was very good at accomodating our needs and were very helpful. Great location and valet parking was nice, but expensive. We would stay at this hotel again.
